We need players like Ross Barkley when we are hopefully competing on four fronts next season.

He is without doubt a talent & highly influential midfielder when in the groove. It is up to Koeman & his coaching team along with Ross to impose himself on this team and kick on to be the great player he obviously can be.

I hope he stays & gets the chance to win Silverware with us sooner rather than later.

It's been played out publicly on every one of RK's press conferences for weeks/months now. If Ross has decided he wants to go, fair do's, don't have an issue with that. If the contract offered isn't enough, fair do's, get agent to discuss privately with the club.

Say what you like about Lukaku but at least he made it known that he doesn't want to sign a new contract.

When the manager of the club doesn't know the intentions of one of his senior players and admits this publicly to try to force an answer then
it just looks embarrassing
 
Ross staying is huge for us. We need to ADD quality, not lose it.

There's a large number of players in the squad not good enough to play for us and he's nowhere near that group. Signing more quality in those attacking positions will really help him, just look at how good Spurs are with 4 top class attackers on the pitch at once.

We have two good attackers in Rom and Ross, if we can add to that we can compete but that starts with keeping the two we already have.

We can't afford to have to replace 11 players because starting from scratch will set us back.

Our home form suggests away teams don't think it's Christmas at all mate.
