I'm struggling to see the benefit of Koeman being so public at the moment. Especially as there's still 2.5 weeks before the window opens, but I'll reserve judgment until we see the result next season.
Will Ross be bossing the Spurs & England midfield, while we're stuck with Mirallas/Niasse/Rodriquez front line. Or will he be this years Jeffers/M.Ball/Jose Baxter, while we're topping the table with a team full of top class pros?
Suspect the result will be something in between.
The player is under absolutely no pressure whatsoever to make any sort of statement. He holds the aces here. Everton cant even sell him if he doesnt want to go.For years we moaned about the wall of secrecy and we wanted the club to be more transparent, to know whats going on, but now some dont seem happy stuff is in public?
Koeman has to be public on this, we all know he has a year left, if everything was kept hush hush we would be going into meltdown wondering whats going on.
Of course this could be easily avoided by the player making a statement but he isnt, have to question why? Koeman has this spot on
But he must get on with Ron, or he would have gone elsewhere.he could not get a game and up till now has looked very good , but injury prone!
Hahaha,Ross, don't make me rename you Ross Blertley
Do you really think these two are squad players? No way.

That's not being decisive. That is publicly using words to pressure a player to sign a contract the the player (Ross Barkley) didn't deem satisfactory. For all we know they low-balled the hell out of him. Ross hasn't said he intends to leave the club which tells me he is seeking a better deal which is fine.Fans -"We're too nice as a club, we need to be more decisive and ruthless!"
RK -"Either sign the contract or be sold"
Fans -"Koeman's out of order there!" "He's acting like a bully!" "He obviously wants Ross out!"
the lack of statement from the club, especially following Koeman's post match comments on Sunday suggests to me the club and Ross's people are having (hopefully positive) talks trying to resolve the situation. If it was as simple as he wants to go i think we'd know by now. That's not being decisive.
