Ross Barkley

I can't agree with this. The club has offered him a contract yet he has declined to sign it. Furthermore he hasn't had the decency to inform the manager of his future intentions. We are currently trying to strengthen the squad prior to an early start to the season, if he was ,as you suggest, attempting to hold the club to ransom this would be an incredibly self - serving approach at this point. Personally I think he has left the club with no option but to significantly strengthen the position he plays and effectively push him back in the pecking order, and possibly make his decision for him. Foolish boy.

I can't see where he rejected it outright like Lukaku did. Think it's more to do with sorting out the fine details. If he stays people will love him again, if he goes he will be slagged off by majority. People can't wait to stick boot in. Their trigger happy to do same with Lukaku also.

Barkley has currently got the board in his cross hairs and his agent has called Koemans bluff and has them on the ropes.

This would be called great agent work if someone did the same get everton a cheap deal. Barkley agent could have no intention of forcing him out of Everton and his celebration v Burnley shows this himself. However he has kept quiet recently not to give the game away.

You make a good point. Even if he signs the contract I can see many blues getting on his case at the slightest thing. The lad would have to build bridges with the fans. He really is cooking his goose.
i hope he goes elsewhere and wins the lot, comes back and kisses the badge of whatever shirt he is wearing and flicks the vs at the the fifty year old fatties in the park end as he slots again

Ronny doesnt care mate, hes sitting on a patio somewhere on his 2nd bottle of red.

He sadly will crash and burn if or when he leaves the nest, he won't be indulged or there won't be the patience with a lack of productivity elsewhere.

I feel sad for Ross this decision will dictate his career I feel, if he leaves I can see a career for Bourmouth eventually.

ok then lets get rid and pay some pedestrian icelandic turd 120k a week instead, not to mention cuca and Troy![/QUOTE

Sorry mate we have cut Barkley a fair bit of slack now he wants more than our 100k a week for what - failure in every big game we play in? Say what you want about possible replacements but the one you mentioned wont bottle it an anfield as in a winning goal earlier this season.

cut him some slack? screaming obscenities at him at every opportunity, the ridiculous cries of teeeeern before the ball is even at his feet. i guarantee this, we will not sign a better player in his position this summer, and if we were signing him from another club you would be creaming your keks

Ron doesnt rate him.
Offer doesnt please camp Ross.
Ross' agent turns to Kenwright and waves 'the local card'.
And here we are.

"I need an answer after this weekend"

Really mate - I have watched him all season and while I would actually prefer him to stay he is not in the same league as any number 10 above us in the top 6.

I don't normally go in for this ITK stuff, but I've heard that Ross feels humiliated and let down over the £120,000 a week contract offer.

He's been away with England in the past and has heard the likes of Milner bragging about his £130,000 salary and he feels undervalued.
