Ross Barkley

Massive mistake this, not 1 player we have been linked with is anywhere near as good as him.

Only 4 players created more chances last season, and those are worldies.

He wasnt always first choice last season before those two even came in, if we get them both he has no chance at Everton.

For me this is the whole issue around Barkley, he just isnt good enough. We need much better players, and I dont think its about the money from his side. He wants to play week in week out and must know Koeman dosent rate him high enough to get that luxury at Everton.

Really?

Except nobody's binning Barkley off as it stands at the moment it appears it's him binning us off.

Although we cannot know all the minute details, it would appear a) he's looking for even more wages per week, b) he's looking for a big money move (and by not signing a new contract he putting out the signal 'come and get me'), or c) he's hoping he can play out the last 12 months of his contract and get an even bigger money move (in terms of the cash going into his back pocket).

So Koeman's/the club's stance of sign or you're off is spot on. The tail cannot be allowed to wag the dog...

He has been absolutely dreadfully advised by Martin and Team Wasserman purely cos they want another client at City.

Just sack them off Ross and put pen to paper.

He doesn't have to move (ala McManaman or Owen from the shi..), so the stance might be wrong because if he is still one of our players, do we just not play him?

*gulp*

City have shown an interest?!?!??!?!?!!?!?

I thought it was common knowledge that since he switched agents a few years back that they've been angling for a move to City for time?

City were deffo interested prior to Pep joining, don't know where that stands now. I presume, and I'm not weaseling here, that City say in the next 18 months will move to a younger, more homegrown influenced side that Pep can really build into something.

Are we binning him off or does he want to leave?I don't know.I want him to stay but stalling on a contract doesn't scream he's staying.
