He isn't being forced out at all.

He's been offered a deal. I'm sure he has his reasons for not signing it so far. That's up to Ross. It's his choice and if he wants to move on, then fair enough.

Sigurdsson is/was a target regardless of Ross staying or not.

Commercially, he's a big name in the Premier League and plays for a neighbouring country to Tanzania (and yes, I know Tanzania is huge).

He's past the rehab stage of his injury and I think he's actually started in light training.

If Ross has indeed aggravated the groin injury that kept him out of the England games, a long haul flight, training and playing in those conditions isn't going to help at all.

That's obviously all if you believe the official line, which even if true is badly timed to say the least.

I, like the majority of Evertonians, want Ross to remain at the club, not just because he's a local lad but also because he's a gifted footballer.
However, he's starting to really fall off the pedestal with fans who, for many, are seeing a strong Everton who may actually challenge for honours for the first time in their lives
