Ross is a homegrown player, and i think he has his heart in Everton.

The same can not be said about Koeman, Morishi, walsh, etc, who is on a paycheck, and will only be here for soo long.

Let's treat our own, with some dignity and respect.
Sure it is a hardcore business, but Ross should be special to us.

Ross should be treating the Everton fans with some dignity and respect.....

Isn't that Ross in the shot above, still on the tarmac? Wayne on the right, Leighton to his left, can't make out the next guy along (Klaasen?), and then Ross?

Exact same contract situation happened last time with Ross, with a different manager, different owner, same agent though.

See the common denominator there?

Thing is though mate, he's got a voice, he knows what he wants. If Donnorumma can tell Riola were to go and sign a contract with AC Milan then im sure Ross can stand up to his agent.

If Ross had sense he'll know Koeman won't be around for more than another 2 seasons max realistically, If he's a true blue stay and fight for your place. If not then pack your bags and go.

exactly what ive been saying to mates, if he loves the club, then that should override the current management structure

as an analogy (dr who, nerd alert) I don't like the current Doctor, but I have plodded on knowing he will leave, and the show will go on

I reckon Koeman will be here for another 3 seasons as I can't see who he can realistically go to unless we start wiping the floor with everyone.

Indeed.

Koeman is a man in his mid 50s so he is no spring chicken.

To put it in context, he is about the same age as Jose whom seems to have been around forever and both Pep and Conte are in their mid 40s and Klopp has just turned 50.

IMO Ronald is now in Moyes territory.

This is as good as it is going to get for him and to move to a mega club would carry a very real risk of not ending well for him.

I honestly believe Ronald has now started embracing this club and is genuinely excited about the "project".

There is no reason now why we cannot envisage him being here for the next decade or the best part of it, watching the club grow on the pitch, move to the new stadium and start winning silverware along the way.

A few months ago I could not see him being here beyond the three years of his contract.....now I think he will be here for at least another five to ten years (unless we totally tank on the pitch).
