Ross Barkley

This whole saga to me is the most confusing of the summer. Why on earth would he want to leave, and go to Spurs for that matter?? Theres no chance he would get in that team, he's simply not good enough and behind vastly better players.

Better team, better manager, champs league. Enough games in the season for him to get plenty of chances despite the delusions of many here that he will never get a sniff.

Plus the key point, he thinks Koemans a nobhead, something I struggle to disagree with.

"Barkley has rejected the club’s offer of a new contract and seems unlikely to sign a deal while Everton manager Koeman is targeting more players for the same position with Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson still on his wanted list."

From Paul Joyce - so he has rejected the offer.

How anybody is still in his corner is beyond me.
Where's that from mate?. Couldn't see it on his twitter.

Koeman is a football manager who knows what he's doing. Something baby Ross can't deal with.

Pochettino? Aren't we jumping the gun a bit here?

Does it matter if we are ? If he doesn't like managers who know what they are doing then surely he won't want to go to Spurs.

Spurs continue to be the only club seriously linked with him and the links are strong and won't go away. At this point I'd say it's pretty safe to say they are interested in signing him.

From Barkley's perspective I would imagine it frustrates him that his career hasn't progressed. He's not getting a sniff for England and Alli has surpassed him. He probably feels that he needs CL football on his CV to move back into international selection places and he is placing a bet on himself that he will be successful.

No he surely won't, as he'd find out if he ever ended up there. If Koeman's strict regime makes him cry he'd be living in his own personal hell at Spurs with the intensity Pochettino would demand.

He will find out. And so will we, as I think it's absolutely nailed on that that is where he'll end up.
