Ross Barkley

Preface this by saying I want Ross to stay....

That said, I fear he is off. With Levy playing games on valuation would not surprise me if there was a late window swap - Barkley for Walcott. None of us would be happy with that but it serves the following:

1) gives the big finger to Levy
2) gets us pace and a player we have interest in
3) helps the arse with their homegrown quotient

Hows it help Arsenal mate with any homegrown quota when to gain Barkley they lose Walcott mate?

I think the majority mood on here has been sign and stay, if you don't want to, toddle off in jerky movements.

Most want him to stay and thrive, or go and wilt.

LOL fair point, and poorly made on my part.

I think they are happy to let Walcott go and if they do and are able at the same time bring in Barkley then they don't lose any ground..... Their other targets (that Lemar fellow who seems to play Walcotts position) are generally foreign.

Again, not that I advocate this, just that it would not be a complete shock.

Think myself it's just lazy journo's throwing out Walcott every year like happens with Chamberlain as well mate

i said at the end of last season i could see Arsenal coming in for Ross. Just a gut feeling

Further press reports suggesting he's asked for 120k per week and will sign if offered. Could all be bollox of course.

Pabbers, if Ross wants out, it's got F all to do with the fans (though I agree, the stick he gets does get on my nerves, he also gets a lot of leeway as well).

If he wasn't a local lad, would you be so staunchly defending him despite the fact he's declined one of the best contract offers in our history?

Eh??? Are you joking??

Kev and Besic get no stick and free rides from everyone....neither have done anything like Ross has done and are loved.
