lolYou truly are the worst.

I can see why you're such a big Martinez fan. The pair of you think midfield is for fouling and crab passing.

Yet you cite Dembele as one of the best players in the league when he has literally crab-passed for the last two years?

He's a very good player and yes maybe currently a more all-round player than Barkley.

If I had to pick between the two though there'd be no contest. Barkley every day of the week - as he has so much more strings to his bow.

I think most people who watch the game would agree as well.

Ross is getting better and better all the time. Even when he's not playing brilliantly he's able to pull something out of the bag now, which is the sign of a top player.

Imagine not realising that dembele is absolutely at the top of his game though, and the odd great goal he scored at Fulham wasn't the high point of his career.

why be in-direct like that?

If you wish to slate me do so by quoting haha?

Anyway, without trying to start an argument, Dembele is class, and playing brilliantly.

Barkley will be a class above though and tbh even right now I don't think there's anything to suggest that there is a huge difference (if any) in the quality between the two players.

EDIT: Realise you aren't just on about me like

You've invented an argument again.

Hence, 'with a bit of Yaya Toure thrown in'.

Still a lot of upside he could add there though I agree it is improving.

Attacking wise he is peerless, particularly in dribbling, scoring and chance creation.

If he could up his interceptions and ball winning to even average he'd be the best in the league.

Think if there was one thing I could tell him, it would be that sometimes the best pass to play, is sometimes the simplest.

“We need to create a football club that the player wants to be part of,” he explained. “It is no good us saying: ‘Yes, we will keep such and such.’ If they don’t want to stay it will be the wrong investment. But if ‘such and such’ want to stay, can we make them stay? The answer now is yes. It is as simple as that. Every case is an individual case. Ross Barkley, for example, is an Evertonian. He can get at Everton anything he could get at another club. And it is his club. So that’s that answer. Everyone else, we don’t know what their aims are and what they want to do but we will never lose a player now because we are unable to give him what he deserves, put it that way.”

WHAT HAVE WE GOT?
