lol Dembele is only 28 and is up there with the very best in the league.
Barkley will get there soon enough.
He's not tbh though.
He was superb a few years ago in his last 6 months at Fulham and first season at Spurs, but tailed off dramatically over the last few years.
He's come back into his form this season but still I'd say Barkley is just as good/or has more to his game anyway.
Opinions though and they aren't similar in loads of ways.
Always prefer Dembele when he plays higher up the field as I think that's where he's at his most dangerous - personally.

You truly are the worst.I can see why you're such a big Martinez fan. The pair of you think midfield is for fouling and crab passing.
Are we talking about the same Dembele who played 62 games for Fulham, and has played 106 games for Spurs, scoring a total of 11 goals in those 168 league games?

Anyone who can't see that Ross is already a better footballer in terms of output than Dembele (even at Flumps) is remembering Dembele through rose tinted glasses.

I made the comparison. I think they have similar styles, and that like Dembele, Barkley will have his best days deep in midfield, running games.
Obviously I forgot where I was for a moment. What I meant to say was that he is the entire French World Cup-winning midfield crammed into a short back and sides.
It's all about opinions mate, but I don't reckon Dembele can be mentioned in the same breath as Barkley, even when Dembele was in the best form of his career.
Ross is getting better and better all the time. Even when he's not playing brilliantly he's able to pull something out of the bag now, which is the sign of a top player.
Imagine not realising that dembele is absolutely at the top of his game though, and the odd great goal he scored at Fulham wasn't the high point of his career.

That's the thing, also the defensive side of his game has improved hugely.
