By all means, I'm not saying Ross doesn't need to do more because he does.
He does however consistently post pretty good numbers in terms of distance run.
Don't think he's too far off where he needs to be for the position he plays.
 

Love Ross to bits. He has the ability to be a really good player, unfortunately, he is not fit. He, like most of the rest of the squad, are well of the pace in terms of fitness when compared with most other prem sides. Got to be down to the training regime, all the ability in the world will not help when you are shagged out in the last half hour every week, hence so many losses from winning positions. Ross looks about a stone over weight to me.

Absolutely this mate ! - drives me to despair that aspect of his game.

Maybe he could get some dieting advice from that Sakho fella across the park?
 

Thought he was great in the second half, myself.

He's been developed as a luxury player by Martinez though, not told to press and simply wait for the ball to break on the counter.

Hopefully the next manager recognises that and helps him become a more complete player.

There's a clip going round on social media of Jagielka telling him in the tunnel at HT that we weren't booing him specifically.

I thought he absolutely stunk the place out yesterday but at least he was trying. I blame the manager for absolutely crippling his confidence and forcing him to play a style of football that doesn't allow him to fully express himself.
