I've slated the gaffer plenty, especially one season, but the one thing that makes me think he can take us places or the main aspect of his time here is that the game genuinely has a vision for the future, and its not just platitudes like rodgers with his 5 year plans, the way he thought to keep stones, and his tranfers like gerry, galloway and holgate amongst others give the impression of a genuine long term plan

It's the same scenario with Martinez. There's some people that never wanted him here and instead of admitting that they were wrong they'll defend their agenda to the hilt to try and save face, and will secretly revel if they think they've been proved right.
