Not all players develop at the same time and Ross is obviously behind.

You simply cannot ignore that amount of natural ability. Any coach should be doing their best to fix or teach what's lacking because he's a match winner who needs to be allowed to play his own game.

Match winner, you are kidding yourself. I have argued his case through thick and thin but last Saturday I saw the light. He cannot read a game to save his life therefore second to the ball every time. That side of things cannot be coached.

It's called confidence mate, It's amazing what a difference a bit of confidence can do, You wouldn't know it's the same player.

The last few seasons has seen every man and his duck scrutinising every touch Ross makes, all the groans because he didn't run past 10 players from a fans perspective and all the bollockings off managers for trying to run past 10 players. That would be pretty confusing, no? Might cause a player to start doubting himself, no?

Then come the mistakes because he can't do right for wrong and that makes everyone tell him he is sh1t and he loses confidence...back to square one.

If fans and the media had not hyped him to oblivion he wouldn't be getting half of this stick he gets and would be a much better player.

There's nothing wrong with allowing time for a bit of r n r. He probably flew back last night, having had 3/4 days off. Will be back in all of this week
