As many have gleefully pointed out, he hasn't played for England for a while, not sure it's his priority?

I'm a little puzzled though why people who say things like "he's dead to me", "past being arsed about him", "he should never play for us again" etc, keep posting about him?

I'm just worried if he stays it's because no one wants, he won't actually re-sign.

If he's still out of contract come January, he can sign a pre-contract abroad for free or we'll only get peanuts for him because he's only got six months to run on his contract.

He won't get that.
If he does not sign he is free to sign a pre contract in Jan. But he is still here till the season ends. If he is not part of our future he will not play. More chance of seeing Walsh or Baningime before Barkley if he has signed elsewhere.

No Everton contract = no world cup squad.

I find it a bit strange that he pulled up in training on Monday and the club can't as yet confirm if it's his hamstring because there have been no scans yet. Surely the injury would have been assessed right away?

Just read he is out for 3months? What a nightnare for everyone, wont be sold now, wont be playing, what a mess.

Is that confirmed or just rumour? As I said above, it definitely benefits him as opposed to us, but then I was forgetting about the world cup. Who knows, maybe staying here for the season will change his mind and he'll re sign.

I really wish the club would have stripped him of the number 8 shirt though and given it to gylfi. If he doesn't want to play for us he shouldn't be a having XI shirt, it's as simple as that for me. Even if he makes a I turn and stays, he's not in the starting XI anyway.

A carefully written statement put out by Ross and his representatives even at this late stage could go a long way to smoothing the water with Blues supporters. The silence has been deafening from Ross and we have only ever heard Ron's thoughts on the matter which has been far from inspiring.

Ross has been badly advised and let down by his agent here and it is looking increasingly like it is going pear shaped, it has certainly caused embarrassment to the club.
