If it is a grade 3 year he could be about to taste the other side of the running your contract down strategy

He'll be out for 3 months, and then it remains to be seen how it holds up after rehab. Many have never been the same after a bad rupture. He could have been sat there on a 5 yr £100k a week, and instead he's sat on half that and watching the months tick off.

He still might sign after his injury mate I hope so anyway.

NEA what happens with him from here on. He's played his hand very badly. Now injured, no one is going to make a move for him. He needs first team football more than we need any transfer fee he might fetch, so he's between a rock and a hard place.

Don't $£"^k with Koeman. He's a legend. Been there, done it, got the T-Shirt. Barkley's just a kid who hasn't done anything of note in the game.

He could point out that he was a thousand times better then Ross will ever be and that he was a kid with the future of our club on his shoulders while Ross wants leave a club on biggest upturn since the 80's. He could also mention that the club was in massive trouble at the time he wanted to leave and the cash we made on him effectively saved us. Then he could point out that he left us to win trophys and he won every single one he could at English club level while Ross would be leaving to be sitting on the bench Somewere. It's obvious that Ross is as sharp as a bowling ball but even he should be able to see the difference in the circumstances between Rooney and himself.
I think you are overestimating the processing power available to Ross. The lad is thick as a tyre sandwich...

he'll be a good option off the bench this season. Sadly his injuries hinder the fee we would get rather than hinder him. If he's available for a free all the top teams will be after him as a good squad HG option and offer him even more wages.

Not really a nightmare for Ross - Means that somebody will sign him for free next summer and he'll get double his wages due to no transfer fee
Thats true but I still reckon he would rather be fit and actually playing now, means he will only have the second half of the season to stake a place for Russia, he might not of got in that squad anyway but he would rather be fit im sure
