Genuine question. What difference does that make? Either way he decided not to go through with it. Assessing options in January... blah blah blah.Dominick King of the Mail.
'sources close to Barkley insist he did not take a medical at Chelsea today.'
Signing on fee......
Not sure why everyone is so eager to get the torches and pitchforks out on the word of Moshiri and Matt Law.
Those farmtools will still be available when all the information is available and in the meantime they can be used protesting about not signing a well known striker
Dear god Tubey, what does it take to see through this fella......
Spurs offer a better wage than Chelsea though? On what planet is that?
The one where they saved 25million on the transfer fee.
Again, Chelsea can blow Spurs out the water financially in every regard.
There's no financial incentive for Barkley choosing Spurs over Chelsea.
If he signs for Chelsea he's a cup starter and a league benchwarmer. That's no good if he's trying to push for an England spot and regular football. At Spurs, he won't be as well paid but is likely to get more football and have a more realistic chance of competing for a first team spot.
If the report is true that the club have snubbed Levy, it looks like he's going to wait out his injury and force Mosh's hand to redeem some sort of value in January, and consider talking to Spurs. Neither Spurs nor Chelsea have much depth to their teams and may yet welcome Ross to ease the pressure in Jan.
Clearly, unless he signs a new contract with us, he's shown that he doesn't give a crap about the last 12 years here and is quite happy to shaft the club.
