I enjoy a kick about in the park but I don't remember the last time 40,000 people turned up to watch me, nor did I feel any pressure to perform. You can't just say that he deserves no pity because he does something the rest of us find fun, I'm fairly sure at the level he's playing at it's a highly pressured and stressful environment. We don't know what's gone on behind closed doors and to berate him for something we don't know the full facts about seems a little off.

He seems a bit lost at the moment and probably needs a few friendly faces around him and people that can give him the right advice, sadly I think those people are lacking and have been lacking for a while and that's why he's found himself in the position he has. I have every sympathy for him.
that's a very sensible post Bungle: myself and @diepnosophist both like the cut of your jib therein.

Thats when he was chosen for England - so thats utter nonsense!
You see who the England setup really rate when the tournaments come around.

Phil Neville played a lot of Tuesday nights in Slovakia and Moldova, but he was nowhere to be seen when a World Cup squad was announced.

you must have a very blinkered memory was he not in our midfield when we achieved the highest ever prem points no one was knocking him then ?

Not even close. 16 years after the event I still hear songs at every single match calling him every name under the sun and wishing harm upon him.

Well i can understand Campbell to you guys is similar. But Campbell hadn't played his whole career at spurs and was he supposedly a true spurs fan? Ross was jumping in the gwladys street late last season. Everything he is doing is like another twist of the knife.

seems to be a lot of ITK'S all of a sudden !!, Has Ross said anything to anyone yet ??. He's 23 years old , a very young man with huge pressure coming from all sides, the fans included.
what about if Everton were trying to force the sale through, and Ross went to find out about the club and meet their agents for the first time, didn't like it there so declined. Is he wrong in doing that, is he wrong to commit to a club he didn't want to represent ??.
like I wrote, he's 23 years old, he's going to make mistakes and he's going to get things right, don't think we, as a fan base have a right to judge him without the proper facts.

I don't think I've ever said that he's a bad player. My point was that he appears to be hard work, with Martinez being the only manager he's had that was overly keen on him.

I think Ross has been backed into a corner by poor management from Ronald and felt like he had no option but to seek a move. I think we need to look at the part Ronald has played in all of this. It's all well and good saying we like his no nonsense approach, but he only appears to have one approach, maybe he needs to recognise that each individuals needs are different and improve his own man management skills.

Sadly I don't think we'll see this improvement in Ronalds skill set and as a result there'll be continual fallouts with players and he'll depart for a bigger pay day leaving us with a disheartened broken squad.

Ronald is the teflon man innit.

Everton is in a state of disarray this morning.

Walsh and Uncle Billy being held responsible for yesterday's DD shambles.

Crystal Palace being ridiculed for not paying Omar's agent.

Mirallas, Joel and Jimmy Mac....all surplus to requirements yet still here this morning.

Ross is the pantomime villain's pantomime villain.

And to top it all the only player to have scored for us in three EPL games is allegedly caught drink driving.

And as all of this plays out, our figurehead and the public face of Everton FC, Big Ronkoe, is playing golf down t' Algarve

You could not make it up ;)

It is days like these make me love Everton all the more.....I really mean that :pint2:
