Make him train with the u-14s and stick him in net. That'll learn him

I wouldn't even let him train with the u23 squad, let him train himself.
As for the attitude he was harshly treated that's rubbish, he got enough of the arm around the shoulder from Martinez and it didn't work. I think koeman wanted him to stand up and be a man which he clearly isn't.

At the press conference in 2014, when he penned his contract, he actually said that as a small boy he cried the day Wayne left.

Terry, Beckham, Scholes, Nevilles, Gerrard, Fowler, Owen, most of the Arsenal kids, Kane etc etc. They make it and they stick around. Give their club 8 to 10, sometimes 15 years. But our kids - Jeffers, Rooney and now this GS - all leave the nest in 2 or 3 years. I wonder why.

We aren't his guardian I don't care. Look, if you are finding excuse for him for screwing our club then so be it.
I am supporting Everton FC not Barkley FC.
If he doesn't sign a contract he has screwed the Club that did a lot to make him the player he is. It is simple as that. If he runs down his contract and we get nothing he has done 10x's worse than Rooney.
