Are people still calling him selfish for not going to the team that they wanted him to go....

"He's so selfish, he should have gone to the team that benefits Everton even if he didn't want to go there" - without even a hint of irony.

What a wonderful thread of irrational logic this is lol

There is no logic full stop, just pure vitriol. Think some people need to calm down and have a pint or something and at least wait and see the full story before lynching him.

Presumably for the same reason I nearly took a job somewhere but then backed out and held out for the job I really wanted. Cold feet.

Also does it really matter how he turns down Chelsea ? The outcome is the same either way... he doesn't join Chelsea.
 
I personally think Ross has a few demon's.
I will be careful with what i say and i will point out that this is just a presumption.......I dont have any info, and i am basing this purely on my guess work and nothing else.
I remember watching a documentary about drugs in football, and when players failed tests it would stay under wraps, the club would then agree with the anti doping foundation to induce a club ban, but claim injury.
Remeber the begining of Martinez's second season and Ross was out for around 3 months the day before the season started due to a "training" injury?
Random skin head at swansea? Certain toxents stay in your hair longer than they stay in your urine or your blood
Again we are in a pretty similar situation, with a similar time out, could purely be a coincidence of course.
Alot of this got highlighted last year with Berahino, when WBA sold him Pulis was quick to tell everyone the real reason he had not been playing.
Moshiri didnt sound happy at all with Ross on his phone call yesterday and with Koeman's persistance to not pander to Ross, is that a case of the 2 of them want him out of the club for other reaasons?

Basicly, is Ross troubled in the head, is he around a bad crowd, has he been caught a couple of times on drug tests? Wether it be performance enhancing or social?
 
I told you all on the previous barkley thread levy will screw you down. This guy even penny pinches with the catering staff.

So you are basically saying that if you were a footballer you would see your contract out until the team you want to play for came in for you. Doesn't work like that and that would be the end of football if everyone did that.

If the company I wanted to work for told me to hold out until January when they would offer me a contract then I'd do it. My priority in life is my career, not making my current company as much money as possible.
 
I'd love to have seen people's reactions when he did sign for Chelsea and the board still didn't even bother signing any decent players, i think it's for the best he stays till his contract is up coz our team is absolutely garbage
