Noticed they've been linked to Roscoe, Drinkwater and Oxlade-Chamberlain - are they one of those who need the quota refill?!

Can't see how any of those players would interest Chelsea...

Not to say they aren't decent players but for Chelsea? Can't see how that's the kind of signings that will make the difference at all

Also apparently in for Drinkwater, maybe they need to get their quota of home grown up as they have let Solanke, Chalobah, Abraham and Loftus-Cheeks all go out this summer.

That's all i can logically think, as he isn't getting in their starting XI when all fit.
 

I think Everton should offer to swap Barkley with Chamberlain at Arsenal. Both are in the same contract situation with their club, and with them being of similar age and potential/ability/wage then I think it'd make sense for both clubs.

Chamberlain is a bit more injury prone but then so are most of Arsenal's team, yet when they go elsewhere they don't seem to be. I think he could be quality for us, either out wide or in a more central role.
 
Swap Barkley for Kenedy plus £20M.

That would be the only decent deal we could strike given how much the club has been placed over a barrel in terms of negotiating strength.

The Ox makes sense for Chelsea as he did really well as a right wing back for Arsenal last season and Chelsea could do with cover/competition for Moses in that role

Drinkwater I guess has formed a good partnership with Kante in the past and would provide cover for Kante and Bakayoko

Barkley though - don't see where he fits in all of this, other than cover for Pedro and Hazard
 

Barkley: maybe Gibbs + £20M. Or take a chance and take Shaw off United + £20M. As mentioned Kenedy + £20M from Chelsea.

This is the type of player plus cash deals we should be doing with the big guns in for Ross. Make it pay the only way we can now by getting much needed strengthening of a weak position for us plus a few quid.

That's BS. Ross has had plenty of support, just not the arm around the shoulder best mate manager nonsanse. Koeman was actually trying to help Ross in a practical sense by making the lad try to better himself. Barkley got worse season by season under Martinez doing the arm around the shoulder rubbish but improved last season with Koemans tough love. Who actually gives a dam about the player here, the one who feeds the lad what he wants to hear or the man who tells Ross what he needs to hear?
