Fantastic reason not to appoint him poor judge of player.

Personally if I see an individual with that much talent & I think I'm a top coach I'd be thinking I'm going make this lad one of the best players in the league.

These muppets instead think I'm not sure I can get him to cover the full back if he loses the ball on an overlap.

Utter madness

..it’s all a matter of opinion, Simon. Allardyce won’t be alone in his line of thinking about Barkley, remember Moyes is a believer that he “can’t be given any responsibility on the pitch” and even Martinez said he didn’t need to get involved when the opposition had the ball.

If he is leaving the club should tell him to sign a new deal and then allow him to leave in the summer anyway. The least he can do is stay & try to prevent relegation.

Obviously we can keep him anyway however the toxicity that surrounds him from some of our so called fans would intensify & make it almost impossible for him to play.

..you’d have to be a bit of an idiot to sign a new contract and then leave in the summer. Not sure why anybody would do that. It means Everton getting a transfer fee rather than Barkley getting an extremely lucrative Bosman. It’s senseless.

THey have both since been proven wrong

...as I said, that’s a matter of opinion.
Everything is however Martinez proved wrong that Barkley deserves zero responsibility he good but not that good.

Moyes proved wrong by Koeman.

A simple example I'll give you how many near post headers did he win last season whilst defending corners. That's responsibility Ross your job is to win near post corners yes boss. Job done

There's alot of different opinion about whether Ross will/should stay or go. For me, I'd like him to stay until the end of the season now and get playing again. He might actually be able to help us and move the ball forward that bit quicker. Needs must, and beggars can't be choosers. But, I don't see him signing a new contract and I don't see him staying beyond the summer. So, putting that together and from a business viewpoint we'll probably sell him in January to get something for him.
I wasn't happy with him during the summer window (especially that last day). Always liked Ross, but once (or rather when) he leaves Everton he's dead to me though. Can't see it any other way.

I was more unhappy that our major shareholder went on national tv to try & throw him under a bus when clearly the club were trying to force him out to Chelsea.

Complete embarrassment that
