Ross was very often Anonymous. And would often let defenders and midfielders waltz past him with the ball with no hint of a challenge.
Someone getting the ball and dithering with it, is not ‘dictating play’.

Gylfi may score a 25 yarder every 6 or so games but he rarely has any sort of influence beyond this. He never imposes himself on a game. Ross even at his worst never stops looking for the ball and trying to dictate play. I'd much rather have that in my team than someone that jogs about a bit and puts in the odd decent corner.

Sorry to burst your Ross fanboy dreams mate, but Gylfi scored 14 last season compared to Ross’s 5, he also was more productive in producing goals for others.

But crack on with the Ross is boss stuff by all means

I think he wants to get out of the City tbh. Wasnt that long ago that a notorious gangster was after him and Got knocked out in a club in liverpool. I dont think its a coincidence that the gangster gets out of prision and he gets hit in liverpool. I think its non footballing reasons tbh. Koemans treatment of him last year probably didnt help aswell. Dont think we will ever know the true reason of why he wants to go until when hes retired. Thats what i gather from the situation anyway. Please correct me if anyone knows any better than me. As i dont know the guy. Just reasing between the lines.

I am resigned to his departure all rumour/chat points to that, have seen nothing indicating a desire to stay.

There are or could be all manner of possibilities for him wanting out, guess we will never really find out.

Actually Ross created more chances from less playing time and not being the set piece taker.

If he has not left within the first week of the window, IMO the clubs thinking of him are wary because of the injury. He could stay here until season end and after some playing time these clubs may then jump in. But If Ross is playing it like that, why should we humour by selecting him for games if he intends to go on a free?

We have paid his medical bills, wages, without any commitment from him why should we go on? He has not shown any concern for our club only self interest.

It can be he gets a fat signing new deal fee and got paid £100k plus for playing for your boyhood club. But it never happens.

Unless you are his agent who give you that deluded £15m figure (you think he will get them all lol)? I just know if he was gone in August the club would have pocketed an extra £15m-£20m. Maybe he would just leave for free in May the club got zero in the end.
