As I said before and say again is; what goes around, comes around.
Hence a local lad with great potential is put out on a high pedestal and is hung out to dry because the club’s hierarchy together with sections of their supporters are reluctant to accept that their own vested interests/failings caused Ross to look elsewhere.

Moral of the story..
So he should screw the club over by deciding at the last minute he didn't want the club to make any money of him not wanting to be there?

And yeah, the dude was offered a massive pay boost and new contract by those folks. Terrible people.

The only interests being pursued is Ross and his agents. Gangstas maybe.

Everyone is to blame in your mind except Barkley. I'm happy to blame that idiot Koeman for a lot of thing's but what's happened with Barkley isn't one of them. Ross actually had one of his best seasons under Koeman and the tough love reigeme. Koeman only issued the ultimatum after it became obvious that the lad was putting off signing a new deal. Spare me the sob story of poor downtrodden Ross, it makes for good revisionist storytelling but its as close to historically acute as Harry F'N Potter!

And ambition

And ambition
It's hardly an ambitious move to leave a club were your guaranteed first team football for a new club were you'll likely be a squad player and get a handful of first team games a season at best. Barkleys inconsistency as a player will always prevent him from truely reaching his full potential, that and his utter cowardice as a player.

....you’d expect if a transfer was happening it would be early in the window. I expect his agent has been talking with interested clubs and Everton’s January valuation is known. The longer this goes on, the more likely he’s running his contract down for a lucrative Bosman.

I can only see two possible outcomes, he moves in January or goes on a Bosman in the summer.

Tend to agree mate, and further proof of the sad reality in the modern game, part of me (the bitter part) hopes that none of the top 6 clubs wants him after that injury and he ends up sitting out his contract to end at the likes of West Ham or Newcastle

Which is why I have said quite a bit, stuff him and do not give him game time to the summer window.

Thats your blue tinted negative spin.

CL football, better players around you, more England games....more chance of trophies.

It's not mate. It really isn't. I can see Ross is a good player, I just don't see him breaking into the Spurs or Chelsea first team on a regular basis with all the talent they have at their disposal. Sure he'll get more trophy's in the same way Phil Neville won loads of premier league's! That's of he goes to Chelsea because Spurs hardly win lots of cups you know.
