Ross can't handle a few lids in trackies shouting at him, let alone the Italian mafia.
Their ultras literally made Donnerumma cry the other week. I don't think Milan is the club from Ross lol

We care because the club have invested in a lot of money in his development and to receive nothing at the end of the season would just feel wrong. Especially if he blossoms at another club. Why do people care how much money we get ?? Dont get it.
The only people who will really be affected are the men who scouted him, as they will be getting a cut of any transfer.
Sooner he is gone the better, just want him away from the club nowIf we can get money for him this month then please let him go. Don't want a player who wants to leave.
Whilst i understand the sentiment, the lads a professional sportsman first, an Everton fan second.
It doesn't make it easier for us mere fans to accept like, but its proper money involved here for Ross.
I have to admit when Farhad was on SSN last deadline day, I never once 'really' believed Ross had had a medical and U-turned halfway through after I had a proper think about it. It made no sense. Nor do i buy the story that Spurs got in touch during Chelsea talks and thats why he didnt sign. So he can wait for them. Nah, not having itthey will probably structure it as a massive signing on bonus and keep the weekly wages down. But it's true, moving for the money would make spurs an odd choice. plus, I can't see him getting ahead of Alli or Eriksen.
Chelski it will be. They already moved for him, and have just delayed it so they can get a cheaper price. And they will pay him silly wages to sit on a bench.
What do you think would motivate our majority owner to tell lies on public television on transfer deadline day?I have to admit when Farhad was on SSN last deadline day, I never once 'really' believed Ross had had a medical and U-turned halfway through after I had a proper think about it. If anything his stuff about waiting until Jan and reassessing was conjured up between both him and Chelsea IMO, in order to, as you said, get him for a cheaper fee. I have zero doubt that the actual terms of his move were all sorted, and agreed.

I don't buy that bit about Chelsea trying to save a few quid. They have a thin first team squad and £10-15m means nothing to them.
I presume Barkley prefers a move to Spurs.
Well either he or Ross are lying. Ross denied the medical. What do you think would motivate our majority owner to tell lies on public television on transfer deadline day?
Fair point. If i was a manager looking to buy ross last summer, id have found it more sense to revisit the situation in Jan. Pay say 35m for Ross in August, have him sidelined until now, or leave it until Jan and get 10-15m shaved off. No brainer IMO.Agree on this, if they wanted him in the summer they would of got him, of that there is no doubt, but since they knew he was injured why would they?
