Heard anything your side? I posted earlier in the forum that one of your ITK's stated that MP wanted him but Levy didnt want to take a risk and wanted to see him fit first before spending. He said that you wouldnt be bidding for him this month and because of that he was more than likely off to Chelsea.

I personally think that Levy is hoping Ross' supposed wish to go to Spurs will see them save money by waiting until the summer.

If Barkley is bang average then God knows what that makes the rest of the players in our squad.

Barkley has flaws in his game but they'll be far better hidden with quality players around him. Let's be honest, if anyone is bang average it's our club and putting emotional ties to one side he's far better off getting himself out of here in order to develop himself as a player.

It makes them absolutely grim, because they are.

We have supporters though who give the benefit of the doubt to an owner who's overseen the whole affair and committed himself to selling the player. An owner who is struggling to do the one thing he was seen as being able to provide: a stadium.

Love this notion that it's Moshiri and the club's fault for Ross going. Much like Lukaku and Stones, the lad has had his head turned by a greedy agent blowing smoke up his backside. The notion that it's Koeman's fault is stupid as well, yes he gave some tough love in the media once but that is where it should have ended, instead the media were allowed to badger him on a weekly basis about the same subject. The tough love seemingly worked as his game improved significantly but then it dropped again and the lad probably expected to be molly coddled like Martinez did with him, which wasn't going to happen. The fact that the Chelsea deal was pulled at the 11th hour and that he hasn't piped up about anything club related bar one tweet and a pic recently doesn't show him in a great light, all was needed was one statement about his future and that would have sufficed instead it's all been what ifs.

Sell our best young players to United, Barcelona, City and chelsea / spurs , buy overrated older players who have achieved nothing from Palace and Swansea
