I am the same. Everton come first for me and always will but that doesn't stop me wanting England to win when in major tournaments. I wouldn't come onto a forum and diss England and tell everyone I hope they lose and they are crap etc. I am supporting them regardless of being 83% irish blood. I was born and raised in England and never been to Ireland so I support the country I was raised in......but not as much as I support Everton. Think supporting Everton is first for every Evertonian.

Either way you don’t have a divine right to tell someone not to dislike the England team.

Tbh, I've never felt this level of goodwill for the English football team in an international tournament for as long as I can remember. I want to see Pickford do well and I think it's also partially to do with Southgate who is quite likeable.
