of course it is but why we are discussing this in a thread about a comic is beyond me.

Prejudice is fueled when the ill informed gets taught by the bigot, and that happens in all societies and religions

I'm not ill informed, just in case you were referring to me.

I'm just Mr PC. I don't agree with mass immigration. I don't agree with bombings of any nature. I don't agree with honest people getting their heads cut off. I don't agree with carpet bombings ala Bush.

I don't agree with religion, which lets face it is the root of all wars and terrorism.

Safe to be impartial, but as a human being I do reserve the right to be afraid of what may happen if I get on a plane to go on holiday, or catch a train to visit some friends.

I'm just saying that I think many people harbor views that they are afraid to go public about because people think racists, or nationalists are KKK led bigots. My opinion, I don't belong to any organisation or belief system. But most people I speak to in life, are not PC towards the minority scum. They are only interested in one thing, and that is the survival of their race.

That's all I'm saying on the matter.

Ever burped the worm into an old games sock?

(sorry, possessed by the spirit of Chico all of a sudden)

*calls for priest for exorcism.

Just a thought

its not pc , but im being honest.

when you get on a train and a muslim is there, with a backpack, are you a bit wary?

i am!

does that make me a racist- in some ways yes, but id think more realist.

when the ira were at their worse, it was difficult to spot an irishman, before he spoke- then i was wary- does that make me a racist?

i agree with a lot of whats ghost has said in this post, but are we racist or realist?

Chris, why should you being scared of a guy with a turban on make you a racist, the being scared bit kicks in with everyone, even other muslims are scared mate and that is exactly what the terrorist wants. It is easy for me to say this from here as I'm not having people in and out of my cab every day but that is the principle behind your emotion. In my view you would become a racist if that guy got in your cab and asked you to take him Southport and you upped the fare because of who he was.

The IRA would have loved to have had a communual identity similar to the muslim, we'd have all been in [Poor language removed] street then and many Irish folk victimised as a result.

Ha ha, well I tell you something Monty, I got in a cab in a strange town to me, but not my friend. It took us twice as long to get to the destination. I have no doubt the cabbie (who was Muslim) was taking the piss because we were Westerners. He didn't know my friend knew the area, but not really on. These people hate us as much as we are supposed to hate them.

Kind of reversed racism. I'll tell you another story too.

My friend is from Derby, his school was mixed. 50% white, 50% ethnic minorities. Although he actually felt like he was the minority. Anyway, he had a few friends who were Asian and they knew the score with the racial taunts and it was swings and roundabouts. He got called White Honky all the time and in jest he referred back to them as the P word. Now they weren't bothered, but a teacher overheard this and my friend got in serious trouble, but the fact the Asian kid called my mate White Honky was not deemed to be offensive.

Basically its all hands across the country for the poor ethnic minority, but if the shoes on the other foot, nothing is said or done.

People are too scared.
