Kinda yeah. I very much agree that the way government operates needs to change, but it's pretty easy to believe that. Suggesting an alternative is much harder, and I don't think Brand does that at all.

As much as I hate to criticise people for their mannerisms, it is his biggest flaw. However, the assertions that the political system in this country is broken is correct, that politicians are in bed with corporations at the expense of screwing over the ordinary bloke on the street is correct, mainstream media's manipulation of the population is again correct. One doesn't need to delve too deeply to find evidence supporting these claims.

The nazi era of Germany has put an end to any hope of democracy. Want to know why all the parties look, sound and act the same? Whilst whenever a new party like SNP or UKIP appears they get branded extremist? why the likes of the EU/ US are all in bed with one another?

in the days of nuclear weapons nations are terrified of another hitler coming to power, it's why we jump all over countries with dodgy regimes (providing they don't already have nukes) we will never have democracy out of sheer fear from the established political classes
