His comedic delivery is fine on things like Ponderland where he's just telling the odd joke and wotnot. It's this self-aggrandising nonsense that drives me mad. Like Eddie Izzard, supreme comedian, but why must they get involved in politics??
it's a need to have "something to say"

never gonna be remembered as someone who actually HAD something to say, such as your Bill Hicks or the guy who played Rufus in "Bill and Ted" whose name I can never remember

should stick to comedy, I think he's quite good at that

Good example of why I don't like him. A load of waffle and next to no detail.

I can remember being in one of my first senior meetings at work years ago and after one guy talked for which seemed like hours about absolutely nothing, he had some of the other members eating right out of his hand. After the meeting i spoke to a few of the other guys in the meeting and one turned around and said about the situation 'bullsh@t baffles brains'

Russell Brand seems to be the king of the 'bullshit baffles brains' brigade. I think he honestly believes if he throws enough big words into the interview people will think he is enlightening and intelligent. To me its just hot air being spouted. Russel Brand is like an intellectual souffle, all air and no substance.
