Also if you believe Labour then we have not actually "sanctioned" anyone, more a case of giving them a month to get out of the uk basically.I cant really argue with that. The British state is a cesspit.

What sponsors ?
Well if he means USM, Megafon and Yota, he can forget it.I presume he means the existing sponsorships that the club had negotiated.

Best case scenario is he has a Chinese investor ready to invest.
The club have bottled it though. Which is typical of them really.
Yes those 2 options really. The suspension makes me think they brazen it out. I dont see the war lasting a long time. Once the war ends, whichever way it does, the next big issue comes in.
Dont think for 1 moment the pearl clutchers really care about this issue. Next month they'll be onto their next issue.
If they sell, I suspect it might be to a Chinese investor. Russia and China are getting closer. I suspect Oligarchs just take their assets their. The UK housing prices drop. We all lose out, and China gains. But a few tub thumpers get to feel self important.
Because it’s utter nonsense Dave, we play in one of the most viewed leagues in World football, anyone worth their salt would kill to invest in a team in this leagueI'm not sure we can lay that wholly at their door, as much as it pains me to say so.
This was going to happen to any club with ties to a Russian oligarch and the political pressure is enormous. What I have to say though is that there are some fans who seem to activley want this to happen out of some belief its 'right' and / or we can do better. That's amazing to me. We cant recover this ground at all. There will be no investors touching this club with a barge pole. I dont think that's registering at all.
My opposition to Moshiri has been on the basis of him being an incompetent proxy who Usmanov should replace, not in wanting the cash gone.

Richard Keys mentioned Everton being touted around Qatar a few weeks back which Moshiri stated was untrue.
Throw in Cahill who has links to Qatar am I putting 2+2 together and getting 5?
Unless we fall into Chinese Govt or Middle Eastern Royal Family ownership little to nothing changes for us long term.
If some Americans come on board that would finish us off well and truly.

We are a basket case that Moshiri bought at a cut price...we've heaped more debt on, and the prospect of having to complete a £600M stadium is enough to have any investor running very fast in the otherr direction.Because it’s utter nonsense Dave, we play in one of the most viewed leagues in World football, anyone worth their salt would kill to invest in a team in this league
Yup. I don't think people fully realise the potential consequences of what has just happened. Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County, Sunderland...Everton. If ever we could do with a "Good ebenig, Jim" moment from "Farhad", then now is probably that time...We are a basket case that Moshiri bought at a cut price...we've heaped more debt on, and the prospect of having to complete a £600M stadium is enough to have any investor running very fast in the otherr direction.
Utterly laughable that people believe we'll get better than the Usmanov cash backing.
We're in for years in the wilderness, and more than likely we'll be relegated.
I echo those thoughts.I have sympathy with the fans as I think for the most part it's ignorant but well intentioned. It won't made a blind bit of difference. We have got rid of a Russian company, and guess what? Russian keep attacking Ukraine, as independent businesses don't invade countries. Politicians and armed generals do.
I wanted to hope better from the club. But the board is useless. They have a responsibility to do the best for the club. That means sometimes avoiding the hypocritical rhetoric of the rancid mob that gets built up, and focusing on fundamentals. They have failed spectacularly of that.
A proper CEO does not suspend important commercial deals, on evidence that is a best contradictory.
