All your hopes and dreams for Everton being able to compete eventually have died today. It’s a matter of time before the stadium will be called off and perhaps before then relegation, and then whatever form of Everton may survive, if any.

Still at least I can put a Ukraine flag as my avatar and pontificate. Fair trade off.
The "We stand with Ukraine" banner at Goodison....it's like the people of Pompeii holding up a banner saying "We quite like molten lava" just before Vesuvius blew.

How many games of Belles, Bourbon & Bullets do you reckon Kenwright and Moshiri have played since the news broke, like that episode of the Office where Dunder Mifflin is going under?

'Sir, there has been a murder, and you are a suspect!'

You see im comfortable in myself to not need to virtue signal to complete strangers on the internet to get my daily dose of likes.

Are you and Dave in a competition to say the most delusional thing possible? You are the biggest virtue signaller on here. You are talking to people who post 1/1000th as much as you do and projecting all over them. You reply to everyone on here saying the same things every day. Every week. Every year. THAT is virtue signalling. Then you said this …
If thats what you need to feel good about yourself then you do you sir im not going to slate you.

As quite frankly - I would bet a good wedge I do a lot more for charity and my local community (now and during Covid) than you

Seriously look like a parody account mate. A long rant about the evils of virtue signalling followed by literal empty virtue signalling. Is this a joke? Badly written joke if so.

I know you are literally incapable of understanding another persons argument in an emphatic way. It’s obvious in your replies. You say things that are such insane distortions of what the people who disagree with you actually say and think. You argue with straw men every day. And you win. It makes you feel so smart and strong.

I didn’t want politics in football either. That’s why, when a criminal part of a rogue mafia state got involved in my club, I thought it was bad precisely because it seemed like it would bring politics into football. I never for one second agreed with you and others who said there would be no negative consequences. Thousands of empty words that ultimately came to nothing. The sanctions came anyway. As if your opinion wasn’t in any remote way relevant to their actions.

Also let’s not forget, moral issues aside, they have not helped our club and we get worse every year. It’s one thing to defend this when it’s helping us — it’s different when they have literally made the club worse year after year.

I didn’t want politics in my club. As recently as a week ago there were mods and yourself gaslighting people talking about Usmanov being Uzbek so we had nothing to worry about. “He’s not Russian so he won’t be sanctioned.” How did that work out for you dumbdumbs? The fact was he was high risk. They did this to us.

It wasn’t my opinion that he was bad news. He had already been sanctioned. Everyone knew. He and Mosh brought politics into our club. This is the inevitable result of getting into bed with this type of scum. You can whatabout with Chelsea and Man City all you like. It’s still a risk for them. It’s a risk for us. One doesn’t cancel the other. And yeah often the second or third offender is the one who gets the card while the instigator gets away with it. We all know that.

Boris Johnson is a little boy playing dress up. He is corrupt to the core — he is constructed of lies. He isn’t a war criminal though actively engaged in the murder of civilians at this very second. One doesn’t cancel the other. I haven’t liked a western politician in 40 years no matter if they vomit their lies to the left or right — but the fact they work for the rich to steal money from working people doesn’t change my view of what Putin is doing. They are two sets of bad people and one is way worse than the other. There is no whatabout here that will work. You’re making a fool of yourself and transforming from annoying football troll to real life bad actor in world affairs (albeit on a microscopic scale … which is about your level).

Im sorry, but who are you exactly?

Depends what their aim is though long term.

Moshiri for all his ills genuinely wants a go at things and will throw big money into investment on and off the field.

For one Moshiri you can find many owners like Mike Ashley, Stan Kroenke, Glazers etc who just want to spend the bare minimum, dont even put a lick of new paint on their stadiums and sell for a profit 5-10 years down the line.

Be careful what you wish for Springs to mind.

Does it spring to mind in any other context? Such as the people who wished for (are still wishing for) mob money in the club? Does the way this is exploding not warrant a “be careful what you wish for” from the people who warned against getting in bed with the mafia? That this is exactly what we warned you about? But now this is our fault? Lunacy.

That seems like a fairly large “be careful what you wish for” on their heads. Not the other way around.

Clearly yet another poster who sees through your bull

I speak the truth and dont tow the party line - some like that and others dont - thats life.

One thing I'll say about you Marius me old mucka is that all season you've done your best to see the club destabilised even when we were in the top 6 under Benitez you were calling to arms.

Now we seem to be getting a bit of stability under Lampard, a new DOF and Cahill all of a sudden you are championing yet more instability that could see us drop like a stone and no new stadium.

What is your end game?
