How more so than us appointing Dyche? When Dyche was sacked from Burnley they were in the relegation zone 4 points behind us with 8 games remaining. He's now here, and many people think it's a brilliant appointment.

COYB!

John.
What’s you solutions then j96?

To get behind the Manager and team, but not be delusional that Southampton appointing JM would be any more of a poor appointment than us appointing Dyche. I've said from the start we're gearing up for a promotion push next season with his arrival.

COYB!

Lampard has to be one of the worst readers of rooms in history if this is true.

That's hilarious. Imagine:

"Hi Southampton board chaps,

I am Fan-Friendly Frank. I would like to apply for the position of Head cheerleader/Head of PR at your club now that you have sacked Nathan Jones who beat me, coming from behind, a few weeks ago.

Yours in entitlement - and with vibes,

FFF.

PS Triffic. Not about tactics."

There aren't very many good British managers unfortunately. But there's also Cooper and Rodgers
Too many of the British managers still think you can get away with whacking crosses into a big man up top who is holding the ball up for the rest of the team. Well the game has changed a fair bit over the last 10 years and you need to have a lot more about you as a manager and as a team. Players are so fit and move about so much and are tactically so aware that the average manager needs a much wider skillset these days imo, managers need to be able to build/setup a team that can offer it up from all angles.
