Safari 4 is my browser of choice, as it's pretty cutting edge in terms of features, but still in beta.

This site doesn't work so well with it, and many of the buttons for some reason don't work. Which may well be down to the forum software.

Just given you a heads up for when all the other browsers catch up.

I don't have to prove anything to anyone, certainly not to someone who just runs a forum.

I have designed and developed well over 100 sites in the last 5 years. I get paid for what I do, hence I am professional. Notice that one of my clients is Amnesty International, can't imagine them employing an amateur.

:lol::lol::lol:

Oh dear. Must have hit a nerve.

Give me a shout when you have an actual live, popular website - which isn't Symphony with a dash of paint. If you are a professional, you will do well to take that constructive criticism onboard. (y)

Oh, and paid = professional? That must mean I am a professional footballer, great :D

What do you mean Symphony with paint? Do you think Symphony us just a case of skinning? There is an awful lot of xslt coding that I have to do.

Seriously mate your taking the piss a bit here. I started this thread to just raise a flag that Safari 4 isn't working, and I admitted that it's down to the beta status of the browser. But I think now your starting to be a little bit out of order.

Also worth noting that your site is popular down to the members, and ToffeeWeb, and that's it Everton. It's not like you created Facebook now is it?

Most of my work is for B2B companies, and I also do plenty of template work which I am not allowed to portfolio due to me being a ghost developer for other established designers.

Why am I out or order?

All your websites being the same is a valid criticism, as you have admitted in the past. But ignore me like, I just run a forum.... (y)

But anyway, GrandOldTeam works fine with Safari 4, absolutely no problems. Have checked with a tool, and personally.

How are my websites the same? They are run on Symphony, but then you'll find most designers use the same applications. Expression Engine, Joomla, better to be master of one rather than jack of all.

Your out of order because you are belittling my career and insinuating that I am not a professional. Are you not still at college?

RE: Safari 4. I had problems with the Reply button, that wasn't working. But I think that is just a bug, and to be expected because of the beta status. I have had a similar issue with other web sites.

For the record, if anything makes people get into these arguments with you, it's the haughty way you talk about Apple products as if using them makes you elite, rather than any desire to wind you up.

I just think they all look the same, and all being on Symphony doesn't do a portfolio any favours. You have acknowledged this in the past.

Belittling your career? - I assumed you were still in the restaurant business.

To me, as in my opinion, web design on a smaller scale is not a career. Its a hobby. 100 websites in 5 years you say - would they have paid all your bills in them 5 years? No? Didn't think so.

I'm not at college either. Stop belittling me :P

Well I thought you were implying that you run a popular website, and that I should call you when I match that achievement.

I do? - If you trying to suggest the website is only popular because of TW, you do realise we were established well before that? In terms of traffic, the website hasn't altered in the slightest since being affiliated with TW. In fact, in terms of spikes... we had more prior TW as NewsNow bring in more but I havent the time to run a dedicated website.

Your either looking for an argument, or reading what I am saying completely the wrong way. :P I mean "I dont need to prove myself to anyone, especially someone who just runs a forum" ooooh, claws were out there
