He made a tactical howler against city in midfield of that there is no doubt...

He says things that are questionable to say the least....

But some of the critisism he has got is quite simply out of order, he has come to manage Everton not be hounded out by a few people who hated him to start with...

He has till the end of the season then a decision will be made whether to keep him or let him go...

He can only be judged fairly if he gets a fair trial, so let him get on with the job...

He’s done his job, he can’t do anything to better keeping us up as he’s incapable of it. Tick tock FS tick tock

do you not think some of his press comment are out of order?
If we all happy clap him until the end of the season, there maybe a slight chance that this dinosaur of a manger will be given another year.

So to me hound him out the sooner the better

18 months was his contract...

Or end of the season if we got a plan & a manager lined up to take over for next season...

Have we got that ?

How do you make these points, but state in your first sentence "I am not anti Sam"
I don't think he should be kept on as manager of Everton for the reasons I have given , but I was prepared to accept him as manager when first appointed and I don't believe that in reality he is any worse or better than most other premiership managers as a person.
I do not dislike him , I don't think he has ever understood the job he took on at Everton. I think he thought the job was to escape relegation, but it ceased to be that after about four games and he simply was unable to grasp that.

He has said some comments that are dubious, but if we have no plan or other manager lined up how can we sack him...

He will go, if he is not the future of the club/team (which is certainly is not) then it is pointless pissing loads more up the wall on players that don't fit moshiri's vision for the team

Big Sam is clever & very under estimated he knows exactly what this job entails...

You can not seriously say he has been given a fair crack at this job after 4.5 months...

What is Moshiri's vision exactly ?

I don't know about his intelligence but for a bloke whose managed over 1,000 top flight games his actual record is a draw laden mediocrity. His footballing method shares a lot with a certain Tony Pulis, the main difference is Tony lacks Sams flair for brazen self promotion.
If we aim to pursue a path of mid table obscurity with occasional Europa qualification then Sam's your man, probably.
If we hope to aim higher then we need a far better plan (and man).

Any positives ?

I agree going forward, but where we are now Allardyce is the best man for the job so until we have a plan & a manager to produce that plan Fat Sam should be allowed to see out his contract...

I have an inkling that decision has already been made and the impending Derby defeat will only cement that feeling.
