It's kind of eery isn't it?

It's quite disturbing.

It's deffo a good way off putting kids off breakfast for life.

Looks like some arl fella that drinks too much, with a Father Christmas hat on.

I can safely hold my head up and say I have never minded Allardyce during his managerial career, I think he, and a few others, have suffered because of the trend towards more continental coaches, some of whom were poor beyond belief, even Mr koeman gets ahead because of his playing reputation and not his managerial stats.

All Ol' Bern is saying is, no bandwagon here, I think at this moment in time it is a good appointment. I think he will surprise a few, as i alluded to yesterday. Who knows but I'm behind him all the way.

Allardyce: do your research on him. That type of finish isn't his thing. He got Bolton 8th and that was it.

Ok, he'll have better players here, but his mindset is one that goes for draws rather than wins. You have to go for all three points to make a dent in the top end of this league.

People need to realise, that with the standard of teams Sam has been asked to manage in the past, he had very little option, BUT, to set his sides up that way.

Now, for probably the first time in his career, he has a group of players , with the potential to go a lot further in the league. than he has ever had before.

I think over the coming months, we will see a different side to his tactics, yes he will keep us tight at the back, but after his tweeks at half time on Saturday, he is tactically astute, and with Shakespeare's assistance, i think we will be quite a good watch in most of our games.

I wont turn up my nose at a 7th-9th spot. I just dont think he's a manager capable of getting us to that next level. His whole career...and it's a long one in the PL...screams that to be the probable outcome.

He is what he is: a manager who'll make his teams hold onto points and maintain a final position above the relegation zone. A bottom half manager if ever there was one.

A bottom half manager, who has only ever managed relegation certainties, or they were until Sam arrived.

Give the man a chance, he might just surprise you.

Worth noting that on the official 'chalkboards' for the game, which highlight each time a player does something of note (pass/tackle/shot etc) Sigurdsson has 12 entries inside our half - 10 in the first half and 2 in the second - while Lennon has 7 - 4 first half and 3 second - so Sam's explanation doesn't really seem to tally up with what actually happened on the pitch. Weird that.

I've never hidden that I'm not a fan of Allardyce, either as a man or a manager, but while he's here he'll have my support. Just wish he could be less of an obnoxious prat really, because I don't enjoy cringing when the Everton manager speaks.

I cringed every time Martinez spoke during his last 6 months with the club.

Mirallas & Schneiderlin on the plane to Cyprus. Hopefully that’s a clear message that we don’t carry fannies who won’t fight for the cause anymore.
Get this pair shipped out in Jan!

Bit surprised/disappointed to see Lookman’s name on there & to a lesser extent, Vlasic. Would have expected them both on the bench on Sunday. Maybe he thinks they can manage it, both young.
