Mirallas & Schneiderlin on the plane to Cyprus. Hopefully that’s a clear message that we don’t carry fannies who won’t fight for the cause anymore.
Get this pair shipped out in Jan!

Bit surprised/disappointed to see Lookman’s name on there & to a lesser extent, Vlasic. Would have expected them both on the bench on Sunday. Maybe he thinks they can manage it, both young.
Could just be a case of giving Lookman and Vlasic some game time, wouldn't expect either of them to star ton sunday, but for both to be on the bench.

Yes, hope so. Just I thought he’d said no one who’ll play any part on Sunday will travel???

Must admit, I really hope to see Niasse start Sunday, or at least come off the bench. I think it’s a game he can make his mark in. Also think Sandro is about to shut his doubters up, so maybe those 2 could get edged out. We will see.

I'd doubt he'd say anything as silly as that. We still have to show Anusol and the europa Cup some respect. I imagine we'll be sailig close to with wind with a fine for being under strength as it is.

From the Echo:

Earlier this week manager Allardyce said: "It is a dead rubber. I would suggest to the fans that if you are going to spend some money to go and watch them be mindful that I am going to send a team that is not going to be risking too many players who are going to be involved for Liverpool."
"It would be foolish of me to consider getting a player injured in that game and not have him available. I have too many injuries already."

That's not saying all those playing Sunday will stay at home, just that he won't take some risks with some and perhaps rest others who might play.

Happy he’s staying home, fielding a young/B team in Limassol and sending Mirallas.

Mirallas needs to be jibbed off, I suspect Schneiderlin will be given a chance to impress though. Which I think is fair enough, everyone deserves a second chance. Not about 57 chances like Mirallas has had.

I'm sorry, but there is no prospect of us making any progress in the Premier League as long as we play either Niasse or Sandro. Our top priority in the transfer window will be a centre forward - one who can score goals and lead the line too.

But until then, we will have to make the best of what we already have. Calvert-Lewin shows definite promise, but he cannot yet bear the responsibility of being our main striker.

Disagree entirely. Our top priority is the defence.
