The point is we do it virtually every season irrespective of who the manager is, hence it’s a standard trip to organise.
Well no because where we go and who we play is surely influenced by who is in charge.

The amount of money we are paying this slug to send a patched up team of overpaid, disinterested dopes onto a pitch once a week before giving him an entire year salary this summer for a season he had no intention of ever managing us for is enough to make anyone weep.
If it wasn't us he is rumbling every week I'd actually find what he's doing hilarious. His troll game is really on point, he's bantering us off with every piece of verbal diorrhea he spews. It takes a special kind of crook to get the biggest club job you've ever had or ever will have and spend every moment of it trying to convince fans that you've pulled off a masterstroke by keeping them in the league more by default than anything else.
Please Everton, put us out of our misery.
He has to be the master of spin and really is fireproof in every respect. Bottom line is that he "saved us" from relegation and has justified his position, performance etc., and can use West Brom as his yard stick. He leaves with a pocket full of Moshiri's cash and his CV is enhanced because we retain our Premiership status. He neither cares or "gets" Everton and the reality is, why should he? A win or a draw is media and spin nectar to him and he will layoff adverse results by hanging out players or over expectant fans - a true master of spin...nothing sticks to Mr Teflon.
The media and pundits love him because it fills airtime and column inches. Hopefully he will be gone in 4/5 weeks or less and this season is a car crash that we have survived. What is more critical are the next 7/8 weeks when Moshiri's blue print for our future is revealed and appointments made. Then players can be bought/sold/whatever and some element of control reintroduced with everybody on the same page.
The horror stories recently revealed (Paul Joyce) about the toxicity at Finch Farm give an unwelcomed insight at how far matters have deteriorated and it will take considerable time and effort for a new management team to firstly identify and then clear out deadwood players and coaching staff. Patience, many more millions of Moshiri's money and making sure the right people are in place before the World Cup starts. The sooner it starts the better and the starting point is paying up the managers contract and limiting the damage he is creating with this growing rift and division with the fans.
Other fans complain when we're not rolling over and having our chins tickled. The day I care what Swansea or whoever think is not likely to happen anytime in my lifetime.
Noooooooooooooooooooo....Your right about the master of spin.
But moshiri won't sack allardyce. He will be here next season I'm sure.
