The regime see support of the team as support of them. They are masters of inaction and sadly only embarrassment through fan protest on tv seems to spark them to do anything.
No intention of undermining the players' efforts tonight. I suspect those advocating demos at the match are probably mostly armchair warriors who can do what they like. Hurl abuse at the TV etc if it makes anyone feel better. But be careful in the pub. Meantime back at Goodison, it's us versus the loud mouth Geordies on the night. Hopefully we will win and in the next few days we will hear that EFC and Sam have parted company on good terms. (Big cheque and polite verbal praise). We move on.
We have had 3 managers in quick succession. What are you on about?
Koeman was sacked somewhat early I reckon, the fans had not quite fully turned on him at that point. It has got nothing to do with the fans "protesting" on telly!
Koeman was definitely a bit early I think , But he needed some direction and ideas from elsewhere
Nothing mate. Just polite applause from the Goodison faithful. Even Schneiderlin's name is being cheered again. Back to normal, just accept us being rubbish. Is anything really happening tonight ? Or tomorrow ? Or usual spin garbage
I always assumed there was issues behind the scenes. Combining that with being humped at home by Moshiri's old club on prime time TV probably didn't help either.

Yeah true
I mean it did look like we had no tactics and we were somehow expecting players to gel
It also looks like that was the start of our new Cheap showbiz style club - run with some kind of tabloidy approach
We’re one step away from Allardyce going round the pitch and saying F Off to each stand, while we applause and cheer more ‘Thank you Sam’Nothing mate. Just polite applause from the Goodison faithful. Even Schneiderlin's name is being cheered again. Back to normal, just accept us being rubbish.
We had Kenwright coming out with ‘what a manager’ after two successive bottom half finishes from Martinez. He was fired because the fans made the situation untenable. Wenger is probably going a year earlier than he wanted because the fans stopped going to the game. Fan action focuses media attention and ultimately pressures the decision makers at clubs. They don’t have to respond but it’s a far better strategy than the clap clap clap clap that usually rings out around Goodison. Moshiri is a bit of an unknown quantity but in terms of Kenwright and Elstone the only two things that motivate them to do anything are relegation fear or extreme fan unrest.
Clap clap clap around Goodison?
We have been booing non stop for about 3 years now!
Why would they respond to demands to get rid of a manager who they are getting rid of anyway and always were? What is the point of that?
What we have been doing has been blatantly obvious since the turn of the year. It all makes perfect sense, a new DOF, a new manager in the summer once they become available and then push on from there. Its not like any of the other situations where a long term plan was in place and the fans deemed it needed to change. It was always a short term appointment with the bigger picture coming in the summer.
