Unsworth was clearly out of his depth I think even his most ardent supporters would admit that. Why is it so important to you who did or didn't say it?
It's important to me because I don't believe any manager worth his salt would intentionally disclose the details of a private conversation with one of his current colleagues, for the sole purpose of making himself look better at the expense of said colleague. There, I've answered your question, truthfully as I always do. Now answer mine.

That makes no sense. The previous managers didn’t have them at all. They had us in 13th, tied in points for 12th, 2 points off of 9th. We are in 8th. So Sam didn’t have to deal with Europe, cups, almost none of the injuries, the brutal opening schedule where we played tough teams, shouldn’t he have done better? Strength of schedule alone he should have.

But yeah, he had to deal with Martina for a few months and Coleman for a month. He spent 50M in January he had it so rough.

I'm unsure what this bit is referring to? Are you saying that Koeman didn't have Baines available? Because he did. Baines got injured at Southampton away on the 26th November. It was him who got the deflected goal in the first game against Ruzomberok.

You seem to be picking and choosing injuries as a stick to beat Allardyce with. Allardyce was without Baines from his first game, until March. He was without Bolasie for almost a month. He was without Coleman for 2 months. He is now without Sigurdsson.

The digs about the £50m are odd as well as those signings (made by Allardyce) have proven to be the difference in a number of games already. Stoke away, last night. At least those signings have actually contributed positively unlike the millions wasted on the likes of Klaassen.

Well, it is a football forum and we all spend most of our time speculating about one thing or another

And the “sad times” comment is based very much in the present where the pessimistic mood among Evertonians is at the lowest ebb it has been at in ages.
There isn't anything wrong with speculation, I'm just saying you seem to be resigned to it.

There is plenty of time before next season for Moshiri to act.

Not so much now as the games are prepaid - in my day ypu paid at the door e.g. HK on arriving as manager the fans stayed away gates of 13,000 that would never happen now I feel it made him turn it around not as much pressure now as it used to be clubs also relied on gate money!
You pays your money you take your chances mate. Besides, even those that have paid up front can still stay away if it's that depressing.

I can tell you this for nowt, Joe.

The only reason I was there last night was because I had already paid in advance via my season ticket purchase.

I am too tight to let that money be wasted

But....if I was not an STH and pay at the gate was an option, I would have been nowhere near the joint last night, nor would I be going versus Saints.
