To me the connection is obvious.....if he is not to be fired then some sort of extension is inevitable on account if you cannot have a 63 year old manager running down a contract over a season.

I know there is a growing set of people "resigned" to FSA being the manager next season, I just really don't see it. What is the point in keeping him? Manager would have less than a year left, you STILL can't bring in any managers in the middle of the season.

You can bring in a manager mid-season,if it's a good idea is another question.

Listening to the post match phone-in on Radio Merseyside coming away from the game last night it was almost toe curling to hear an interview with Lardiola bigging up a narrow win against a very ordinary side as somekind of great result and banging on relentlessly about he's done in the time he's been here.

You've got to hand it to the man. Nobody does self promotion better.

That's my point also if we were fighting relegation that Sam performance would have been the right style and approach to that game - not sitting higher than the team who visited in 9th place!
I reiterate the other lot fans with the Money spent this Season would not put up with Sam or the board!
New ground with that team and we could get relegated if our luck runs out - I think Sam will be gone still if my source is correct!

Well, if there were money to spend and a free hand to get shut of the rubbish like Baines, Jagielka etc it could work. Not likely to happen though as RM has moved on. I reckon after the WC he'll be in demand in Spain.

• Jim White's comments this morning (and his relationship with the chairman) indicates that the board want to stick with Allardyce.
• The club's own magazine talked up Allardyce as being a prominent person behind the rebuilding of the squad going forward.
• Allardyce spoke about recruitment in the summer being imperative, wouldn't of done so without prior board agreement.

I’ve listen to TS a lot the last 2 weeks and the whole things fake, it’s the same fans coming on over and over again. They just like to annoy people so they phone up and pay 13p a minute and never get on. Becoming? Are you for real?. You know quite well I've always disliked him as a person. At the moment I'm only obsessive about him because he's manager of the football club I support. Once he's gone I wont give him another thought, until I see him on TV and then remember that I dislike him again.

At the moment I'm probably more interested in why you won't answer my question. Come on, it's simple enough. Just yes or no will do.
