Absolute despise the media push to keep him in the job. We’re getting told what’s best for us by people who don’t watch us.
Spot on,and we are overreacting etc, they obviously didnt watch the games were we had no shots in 3 out of 5 games by xmas,i think it was [something like 1 game in 6 years before that,to add to the battering we have had,the excuses he comes out with, the praise he gives himself, the boos he doesnt hear, the defeats he passes on to others, the games we have lose before we turn up with the way sam goes on about them, etc etc.

I think a point should be made that it is not cheap to goto a match these days, especially with kids. People invest a lot of time, money and emotion following a football team. I think our match going fans have a right to deserve better performances on match days and not keep going home miserable as sin.

This brand of football is going to do nothing to encourage a new generation of Evertonians to come and support the club is it.

Listened to him and the other 2 licking sams backside. The so-called Everton fan, I think he was called Jay was a definitely a rs . He kept referring to "Everton fans" instead of we.
I posted this the other day on a thread I made...

An example, there talking about the survey and an "Everton fan phoned us" He then proceed to say Sam done a fine job he signed Tosun, is that how you say his name? he should be given summer and Jan
He used words like them or they when referring to Everton.

Did he say something similar?

So does that detract from the achievement??

In a season when it looks like Southampton, Stoke and West Brom are likely to get relegated

This seems like an irrational witch hunt - an interesting insight into group think / the madness of crowds etc
It's not a witch hunt the football if you can call it that is so dire - defence still looks vulnerable- midfield has to be the slowest I have ever seen - hence the forwards are starved of chances
Proof we won last night with our only shot on target!
It's relegation standard football and somehow we are 8 th we have moved up the table above the poor standard below us no where near a Europa place. And Koeman got sacked!

"Delivery" will be a QF berth.
With the quality they have in the squad I think they will want more than a q/f spot.

A very interesting man to listen to , but I am not sure he is suitable for the cut and thrust of club management.
I think he doesn't mix the practical enough with the desire to play good football.
If he were joint manager with a more pragmatic defensively minded person I think you may get very good results.

Yes, he wanted sam to stay, thought he had done a great job and Everton fans should get real.
He was far too passionate about him. He was a rs.

Quite a large swath of his career you've omitted there mate. He did really well with Bolton about what? 15 years ago?

He's been a dross survival merchant ever since. He's obviously going to better here than at Sunderland or Crystal Palace because of our players and resources. He's a footballing dinosaur.
A 'dinosaur' who's got us up to 8th place while other recent top half teams are getting relegated...

The Bolton example is a time where he has had an extended run

Keen to replace him with someone demonstrably better - but these people are not easy to find

A Brands (with his life of Eredivisie experience) / Fonseca (limited experience - in places like Portugal, Ukraine) combination is quite a risk

Think this gives a fairer picture of the 'football'!

Is that how you decide who wins the league ?

I think the stats should be accepted, that is not the reason for getting a new manager.

I want a new manager that has won trophies and has a history of success in the bigger leagues.

It isn't about who we get rid of for me, it is about who we get in.

Rubbish, you obviously did not go and your son needs a pair of better glasses. Newcastle came nowhere near beating us. Two poor sides, of which we were the better side until MOM Schneids had to go off. Bringing Davies on starting us losing the ball too often. The atmosphere was OK and far from horrendous. No demos, no anti Allardyce chanting and Newcastle fought hard to defend with 10 men and could have got away with a 0-0 draw.

Presumably you watched it in a library or on the moon? Any atmosphere came from the Geordies, and nobody even batted an eyelid when they started the "You've got Sam Allardyce" thing, Goodison as a whole just sat there in almost embarrassed silence!
