Because we adhered to NSNO before we got Allardyce right?
We alaways tried to the fact we were strapped for cash was the problem look what we have spent in the last two seasons!
Even under RM on a shoestring budget apart from one season he got us record Prem points on bargain base players, and loans do you think if we keep this fraud next season will be any different even if we spend more ?....
No his record with other clubs say not - also the football is so dire - I bet the Mosh refuses to speak to him let's see what happens in our next games where the same turgid football will be served up!

Last 10 games home and away.

Allardyce's last 10 away results: P10 W2 D3 L5. Goals for: 8, Goals against: 18
Allardyce's last 10 home results: P10 W5 D3 L2, Goals for: 13, Goals Against: 9
= 27 points, GD -6

Koeman/Unsworth's last 10 away results: P10 W0 D4 L6, Goals for: 6, Goals against: 20
Koeman/Unsworth's last 10 home results: P10 W6 D0 L4, Goals for: 13, Goals against: 16
= 22 points, GD -4

I think it's fair to say he has got us where we need to be. Scored more and conceded fewer in away games, albeit scored fewer than 1.0 goals a game and conceded more than 1.5 goals a game which was the case before he joined us.

Home results, hasn't had us score more goals but we've conceded almost 50% fewer so the defence has tightened up a little.

I'd say that's good enough to say job done, thanks and goodbye.

We had a real bad run at the start to

He was always going to use a win last night, to blow his own trumpet, no matter how the result was achieved.

Having listened to the " Allardyce Campaign Manager " - Jim White this morning, there is one thing has become apparent, the press are very aware of the depth of ill feeling towards him.

White did his best to dress it up, as " you know what you`re getting with Sam / be careful what you wish for etc ", but they can no longer deny that it`s 15 fans on the internet who want him gone.

Moshiri has shown how ruthless he can be, with the way he got rid of Martinez and Koeman.

Sam can bluff, posture and get his media mates on board all he wants, but if Moshiri has decided he`s served his purpose, he`s gone.

One dire win, changes nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Allardyce took Bolton to the brink of the Champions League - he was then denied the financing to make the next step

He's taken us from 5th bottom to 8th

If we can find someone genuinely better then we should switch, if not, I'm not against seeing Allardyce getting some money to spend in the summer and having a crack at achieving bigger things next season

His experience shouldn't be underestimated

He also left Bolton with debts, from which they have never recovered.

That`s not his fault, as he was allowed to spend money by the chairman at the time, but nether the less, he left them in a financial mess.

History shows that his legacy damages clubs soon after he leaves.

Didn’t think about that tbh, they are only defending him because they feel the need to, the fans have turned, granted last night there wasn’t any shouts but I think it’s more to do with no being bothered and most people think he’s going, watch if they announce he staying before Southampton, then there will be shouts

he's not the same manager he was back then though, when he was trying to build his reputation and most of the football being played in the league was of a similar ilk. Times have changed and so has Sam, he used to love slating the opposition players and managers and winding them up now he just berates his own team whilst revelling in any successes.

I was blinded by his Bolton days when we first announced we were going to appoint him but i was wrong, he's not got the same drive and hunger any more.

Maybe in your eyes but most supporters our eyes have bled with the football he has served up!
He is okish if you need saving by the time he came in we were not in the bottom three as it has been made out - then he claimed he won us the 4-0 win v West Ham throwing a Unsworth under the bus!
If he does stay which I doubt he will more than ruin our club!
