How does he pick the team?

No surprises to see he's putting the most experienced players in. But Bolasie especially has stunk the place out every week, how is he still getting picked?

Also Rooney barely looks like he can muster a jog let alone run, his legs have long gone. For a player with such an illustrious career, and the club that helped bring him to professional football, Everton really have had very little reward from him.

We could easily be giving Vlasic a run out in games vs newcastle and swansea etc. I don't think Klasseen will ever be good enough, but at least give him a run out and then we can see.

If Davy Klaassen isn't better than this current version of Wayne Rooney then he may as well pack it in.

Last 10 games home and away.

Allardyce's last 10 away results: P10 W2 D3 L5. Goals for: 8, Goals against: 18
Allardyce's last 10 home results: P10 W5 D3 L2, Goals for: 13, Goals Against: 9
= 27 points, GD -6

Koeman/Unsworth's last 10 away results: P10 W0 D4 L6, Goals for: 6, Goals against: 20
Koeman/Unsworth's last 10 home results: P10 W6 D0 L4, Goals for: 13, Goals against: 16
= 22 points, GD -4

I think it's fair to say he has got us where we need to be. Scored more and conceded fewer in away games, albeit scored fewer than 1.0 goals a game and conceded more than 1.5 goals a game which was the case before he joined us.

Home results, hasn't had us score more goals but we've conceded almost 50% fewer so the defence has tightened up a little.

I'd say that's good enough to say job done, thanks and goodbye.

If Moshiri doesn’t sack this clown, I’m afraid I’ll have to join the Anti-Moshiri brigade. It’ll say he’s only interested in staying in the league and not making us contenders.
It will just make him no different to Kenwright tbh, Bill used to come out with all that wham about ground moves and talk of investments all the time and none of it ever happened, i was hoping Moshiri would be better than that.

Sam Allardyce is what he is, I think everyone knows that. I think he has done good with our club to stady the ship and take us to 8:th place which IMO is very good. Remember last year when we finished 7:th with Koeman. To me the lift has been clear when talking about league position.

If people are upset and angry they should blame Farhad M for the recruitment of BS. He is the man hiring this fella.

What may be in the future will be interesting.

We completely dominated the game, out-passed the opposition in their half," Allardyce told Sky Sports. "Some of our passing went astray but in fairness you can't really blame me for that can you? I don't pass the ball out there, the lads do."

Well stop picking the 2 main culprits then in Bolasie and Rooney, stop bringing a clearly lacking in confidence Tom Davies on Sam it's your fault to an extent.

However he is right some of those players are incapable of stringing passes together, they all run away from the ball very rarely having any sort of quality movement or one touch passing. It's hardly surprising that people are giving the ball away when their team mates are scared to offer an option that doesn't include punting it 40 yards. I give Rooney pelters for giving the ball away constantly but sometimes he has no other choice than to try his crap Hollywood passes.

I agree, and at least the passes Rooney tries, if they come off, result in a chance.

Sam also has shipped out Lookman, who would be a no-brainer option from the left if (when) Bolasie isn't doing it.

If only they had some time and a place to practice. With proper coaching there is no reason why this team couldn't play better football.
