That makes for very depressing reading.

I marine where we might have been happen we had actually trued to win at places like Bournemouth, Watford, Burnley, Swansea.....home and away to Baggies.

Instead he got us into the top half of the table then played it safe.

I think he learned a harsh lesson for his stupidity. The moral of the story is don't send private texts to journalists and expect them to remain confidential.

Forgive me for being a bit more cynical. But I'd wager the texts were meant to be released, otherwise he wouldn't have continued sending them once the first was broadcast. He'd have earned more respect had he put his cards on the table and said he'd made a mistake but would learn from it, rather than trying to cover it up.

Anyway. let's hope it's a harsh lesson learnt as you say.

You may well have been brought up with the "school of science", but that is another slogan, as is "the peoples club". The School of Science and NSNO have been pretty much jibbed off for over 25 years.
