I like Buxton. He's always maintained that Allardyce is a dead man walking.

All well and good , but Brands hasn't decided to accept the post yet, and may well decline it.
Perhaps the question is therefore, why would a highly rated DoF who has been considered by Chelsea , come to Everton to work with Allardyce?
