Yeah, but we're 8th. No other manager would be facing this if they finished there after the start to the season we had. Even his detractors admit he has done the job he was supposed to do and then call him a fat slug in the same breath. Bit weird imo
Yes we had a bad start to the season. But we also had a very difficult start. Allardyce had a decent run of games gto start with (RS excepted) with no Europe as a distraction. We were only about 6 points behind 8th when he started and if I'm not mistaken we were actually 9th 2 games into his reign. So are we that much better off?

Who we played? Team we are expected to beat and lost to all the big teams except the RS who put our their under 12s and a Chelsea who just couldn’t score
We weren’t beating teams that we were better than before he arrived. We were just losing every week and conceding bucketloads.

I don’t particularly like him and don’t particularly want him here next season but it’s strange that you can’t accept that we’re better under him than before he arrived.

And we definitely are.

To me there are two very different points to make.

1- He's done a good job based on the key objective- keep us in the league.

2- Some of us just don't want 38 more games of it.

People lauding his recent results. Look who we have played, a mixture of dross, season over or not arsed teams. If we come up against a good team we will be roundly beaten again because we have no pattern of play beyond get behind the ball and hope for individual moments from the forwards, that will very rarely help you beat a top side. I give him credit for getting the results and stabilising us but the football is dire and he doesn't appear to have an ethos. If his ethos is direct physical football expect him to fill the squad with these types in the summer, is that really the direction we need to go in to build towards challenging the top six? Also how long does he have left in football? What would we be building towards with him in charge? Maybe he is baring the brunt of fan anger with the club and board generally but aside from results he has constantly disrespected fans, talked down our expectations and made it all about San if we win or draw. Sorry I don't want another season of that. I think we need to rebuild with a new manager and DOF not delay the inevitable with safe, guaranteed mediocrity, and a negative attitude from the manager.

This seriously winds me up. Shearer talking about the other clubs who changed manages still being in the relegation scrap when we're well away from it thanks to Fat Sam.

Did the other clubs have the luxury of spending £50m in January?

I wish we could have pundits who'd actually have a worthwhile opinion worth listening to, instead we're stuck with the same old players talking the same old crap.

The pundits are all brainwashed. They make out like we should be appreciative that he’s our manager and we’re ungrateful ffs were Everton not Bolton etc.

Simple question to ask your self...

Koeman still manager, in the position as now but he leaving in the summer, would SA make your list of manager for next season?

The answer to for every single Evertonian is NO
I asked that earlier on,still waiting for anybody to answer it,if he decides to stay in football watch and see the clubs that offer him a job,see how many in the media push for him to manage Arsenal or Chelsea,Id bet my life Merson or Crooks wont be championing the cause
