I think you should read the post I replied to and then read my reply.
The OP said a manager with no PL experience could not get us top 6
I gave him 3 quick examples of managers without OL experience who have done exactly that
At no point in any of my posts did I say FSA could get us top 6

Sorry to dig this up. I trawled backwards on this thread to see who these 3 managers are. I can't find their names. Did they inherit crap squads like Sam has, or did they inherit strong squads and thus achieved top 6 without previous PL experience? Just curious that's all..

As a fellow evertonian i totally respect your opinion but I do disagree on how far you think allardyce can take us. He has never had money to spend at a club like he has now and also his first two signings ain't bad either.

Big Sam for me is the answer 100% he is very much in the mould of mourinho and simeone, a pragmatist type manager and in my opinion he is every bit as good as them two. He just needs the chance to spend the kind of money they do so that he can showcase what he can do. The football will improve at a time when it can improve.

I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that next season If Sam stays we will fight near the top 5. If Sam doesn't stay I believe we will be similar to this season. Change is not always good and the signs from Sam at the moment are a team progressing so someone as astute as Moshiri will very unlikely see reason to change at this point.

Bell end wum

I spent 90 Euro for an IPTV service ( a good one ) so I could watch the games
If FSA stays I might not bother renewing it.
The lad I go to 6/7 games a year with hasn’t gone since Christmas.
He puts his and his dads season ticket on stubhub.
I’m looking for a good IPTV. Who do you use, if you don’t mind me asking
The one I use is very hit & miss

There is absolutely not a single shred of evidence that Sam can even beat a top 13 side, let alone a top 5 side.

Even if he was actually successful, which he’s not, no true Evertonian would ever tolerate his constant insults to the club. On that alone he should be fired. On his mediocre merits alone he should never have been hired.

That really is the total opposite to what I think or want. I don't agree with a single word of it.

It just shows how split the fan base are on this.
All we have ever done is appoint from with in the British game and where has that got us.
Howe or Dyche would great appointments imo.

And people taking about silva being relegated, well so has Dyche. And Howe gets credit for keeping a team in the league, yet some of his buys have been awful
Ibe & smith from Liverpool for 21mil.

Sam Allardyce:
1,032 games managed
ACTUAL trophies: 2 (last trophy 21 years ago - and am really being generous here, they're hardly MAJOR trophies.).
League of Ireland First Division (Tier 2): 1991–92
Football League Third Division: 1997–98
Overall Win Percentage: 39.4

Jose Mourinho:
881 games managed
ACTUAL trophies (major trophies): 25
Overall Win Percentage: 65.6

Diego Simeone:
577 games managed
ACTUAL trophies(major trophies): 7
Overall Win Percentage: 56.33

The sheer horror you have used Allardyce in the same sentence as the above is ridiculous, the others might be pragmatic, but they are winners and bring the trophies in... Allardyce doesnt even know what a trophy looks like.

The football will not improve.

The limit of Allardyce is here and now, he had the opportunity to show he wasn't a bad melon head when we were only 3 points behind 7th, yet every press conference was how we are in a relegation fight and HE HAS SAVED US.... Job done as he said.

Praise be to the gravy guzzler.

I'm not advocating Silva for the job, but people automatically assuming he'd relegate us is absolute nonsense. Hull City were relegation favourites when he took over and he had a bloody good go at keeping them up. I guarantee the overwhelming majority of Hull fans would take him back tomorrow without blinking. And he had Watford in the top half playing exciting football before we turned his head.

I don't know about taking us down. I'd say theres more chance of HIM dumping US when a bigger club comes calling.

I'd still fire him. It might look ok results wise on the surface but he will leave lasting damage the longer he stays, talking us down to his level of expectation, negative football, filling his squad with yet more aging PL players who play a direct style. Look at other clubs he's been at all regressed after he left, I don't call that building for the future.
