Not quite what the Huddersfield manager said on MOD. He said they were beaten by the quality of Everton, and said it twice. In the rush to trash Sam don't let anything stand in your way.

Ahh well, if he said it twice well then it must be true then. Pmsl :D

Quality and Everton are 2 words that are not used often together this season unfortunately. Plenty of better suited words such as Negative, Boring, Dull, Uninspiring, going nowhere.

We were better in the second half though tbf and particularly during the Allardyce Out chants coming from the loyal away fans.

:)

They where beaten by quality thought mate, 2 chances 2 goals, we didn’t play good football but we put the ball in the net, we have quality players it’s just the media think they are all awful

SA nominated for Manager of the Month on SSN....
How can that be after 2 turgid draws and 2 average wins.? Also when your keeper is in line for player of the month it tells it's own story.

Looks to me as if Big Sams media team is in overdrive. If he wins it'll be a joke, especially in a month when City have won the league and blown teams away, and the Albion caretaker manager has been performing heroics to delay relegation.

This 99.9% of things he's been right on. What are they? Only asking as I've no idea who this guy is.

And if you say Lukaku's contract I'll report you:)

OK.

I suppose it depends on his contact within the club. If it's Moshiri, fair enough. If it's somebody like Dunc, I suspect there's things he's not party too.

Basically, despite my fears, I refuse to give up on Allardyce leaving until I see a club announcement to that effect.

I’m not a member on there, but do have a look now and again. I could be wrong abd I’m sure a few lads of here are also on comeonyoublues. But wasn’t the information coming from the training ground and didn’t he say a month that he wasn’t sure if he would be staying.

Sounds like he’s edging his bets to me

I've had the odd run in with him, all I can say is that if he says something it's usually true.

If he does stay then it shows Moshiri is clueless in terms of the need to have the fanbase on side.

There is no way BFS can win the fans back over at this point....so we'll be in exactly the same position next season as we were this, and that will be unforgivable

Silva is a massive risk and no way worth that risk on Adam who lets face it IS proven.

IMO we should only get rid if we can get a top quality proven manager.
On what evidence do you base your statement that Silva is a "massive" risk mate. There's an element of risk as with most management appointments, but why would it be massive.

Also who's this Adam person who is proven.?

If he stays then Moshiri has given up on anything other than staying in the league and building the stadium for the next owners to pay for.

Big sam and the chosen one in for manager of the month - common denominator they defensively pass the ball at the back and bore you to death - if big Sam get MOTM then lets hope its the kiss of death for him!

For me it is the lack of clarity from the club which has caused so much talk about Sam or whoever the manager will be.

If it was officially confirmed that he is staying I think the majority of Evertonians who did not want Sam will accept it for the one season it will be and will look on to see what players he buys and what players he sells and hope that the club does not fall further behind in that time.... I think that may account for a large number of fans.

There are some that would not accept Sam if he won the premiership with the club next season and never wanted before he came and will never be prepared to give him a chance... I think that may be a minority.

The lack of confirmation days from the end of the season is the only thing that tells me that maybe it is not a done deal yet.... although realistically it is more than likely he will be here.

I think if it were Silva was the choice to replace him that would be known by now. I think we may have asked about managers like Emery and are waiting to see if there is any interest before committing to Sam.

I think that it will take the appointment of a high profile manager to get Sam to leave.

It seems strange but there seems to absolutely nothing at all leaking from the club about this.
Even Sam has been somewhat guarded about his comments until he was forced into saying he was staying.. but what else could he say.

GOODBYE?

Think the reason Sam is nominee for MOTM is more down to the fact that there aren't many teams who've had a decent month overall really. They always pick 5 so someone had to be on the list. But surely Poch at Spurs should be on there over Allardyce, they've played 5, won 3 (inc. away to Chelsea and Stoke), and only lost to league winners City. If the WBA manager doesn't win it though it'll be an absolute scandal.
