Has got to be a bit of p**s taking and underhand shenanigans going on for Allardyce to be nominated for Manager of the Month for April. They are trying to give him some promotion and drum up support so as to make make it harder and more 'unreasonable' for Everton to remove him. There is no way does he deserve to be a nominee. Here is what we did in April.

Boring 0 - 0 draw against a weakened Liverpool side
Boring 1 - 1 draw against a struggling 4th from bottom Swansea
Boring 1 - 0 win against a very poor on the day and below us Newcastle
Boring and somewhat fortunate 2 - 0 win against 5th from bottom Huddersfield

If that warrants being nominated for the MOM then the league is fecked and has zero credibility.

Shortlist - http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2018/05/01/allardyce

Sam Allardyce - EVERTON
Pep Guardiola - Manchester City
Roy Hodgson - Crystal Palace
Darren Moore - West Bromwich Albion
Jose Mourinho - Manchester United

OK I understand that mate.

Perhaps the real problem was that he found it hard to pick himself up after the disappointment of his employers not letting him come to us. He was on a relatively short term contract, so it's not as if Watford had expressed any great loyalty in him (although just the number of managers they've had in recent years would tell us that). They had been offered more than double the compensation they would be entitled to under a tribunal, and we can assume that he had expressed his wish to go, so you can understand he would be upset. He's human, as most managers are.

As a matter of interest, his record with Watford after the Everton game (which is when it all started) until he was dismissed was 11 points from 13 matches. His successors record is 12 points from 13 matches. Perhaps you need to give Some credit to Silva for his record with these players before he had his head turned.

At the end of the day, the fact that Silva has remained silent about everything and not gone to the papers with his side of the story, suggests that there is an element of dignity to his character. Something that can't be said about our incumbent manager.;)

Can I be the first to put forward calls for a robotic manager?

Maybe that bird off the self service at the Asda

You may be right, I guess we’ll find out if he comes here!

My fear over Allardyce and him being retained: the dressing room clique have anointed him as 'acceptable' to them. The club after the flushing down the toilet of £300M by that Dutch tool are in no position to hand a warchest to an incoming manager to rid us of the clique, therefore a decision will be made to leave SA in his position and to grind out at least another season knocking safely about midtable and then take it from there.

The club has wandered into a catastrophe in the last 12 months or so. We are apparently in no position to be proactive and move on from this and the hiring of Allardyce for 18 months rather than 6 was one of the biggest acts of folly that could have been made under the circumstances.

I dont believe in Moshiri. I dont believe he has the ambition to take this job on now. And I certainly dont think he has the character to impose himself on the club and make right the wrongs that have been done. We are in bad shape. Very bad shape.

People have mentioned what Blue Onions (from COYB and TEF) has said regarding Big Sam saying.

To add, he has been right 99.9% of the time. So if he says he's saying, he probably is lads.
This 99.9% of things he's been right on. What are they? Only asking as I've no idea who this guy is.

And if you say Lukaku's contract I'll report you:)

Its a shortlist for a reason. Someone has to go on it.

Not sure how the Huddersfield win was fortunate? It was pretty routine.

Almost everything mate to be honest.

Rooney, Klaassen, Lookman going out and coming in - different team news weekly. He clearly works/knows someone very well within the club.

He's the only 'ITK' who is credible and should be listened to.

So he gets a MANAGER OF THE MONTH nomination for not beating Liverpool at home, taking off an attacker for a defender to draw at Swansea, beating newcastle with our only shot on target and beating a championship side although he also brought a defender on for an attacker to 'see out' the win.

WTF we only won 2 games should have won 4.

Silva is a massive risk and no way worth that risk on Adam who lets face it IS proven.

IMO we should only get rid if we can get a top quality proven manager.

I doubt he will mate. He's not high on my list anyway, but I have this awful feeling Allardyce is staying.

Just an add on with Silva though. Generally speaking he's come out of this as the villain even though he's said bugger all in public. His employers are hard nosed operators, absolutely ruthless in fact. One can only imagine what it must have been like working for them when all this was going on.

It’s because on paper it shows us as “unbeaten” and having 8 points from 12. City and united both got 9 points from 12. Moore and Hodgson both got 8. Doesn’t take into account how rubbish we actually were.
Thankfully it’s a public vote, otherwise Allardyce would be a shoe in so that his media friends can continue telling us to sit down and accept him. Moore will most likely win it. Especially if we all vote for him as well.

Agreed. But the Allardyce situation is one where only Moshiri might know the real truth.
