Its a shortlist for a reason. Someone has to go on it.

Not sure how the Huddersfield win was fortunate? It was pretty routine.

So do you just throw anyone on the shortlist then? Nope, a shortlist is made up of the best performers for that period and he shouldn't be on it. It was a month of more negative tripe that brought with it rigamortis, banners and boos.

And yes Huddersfield was fortunate, we only had 2 shots on target and scored them both, the first one being completely against the run of play as we were mostly cack in the first half. Second half was slightly better but only because Huddersfield got worse.

What’s he said about it? Cba reading back through all the pages to find out.

Basically the staff he knows at the club are saying Allardyce is staying.

Fair play but it could just be the case that the staff haven’t been told otherwise at the moment.

He also said gana Gueye was out for at least a month towards the end of March, he was on the bench for the derby on the 7th April and came on for rooney!! He gets some right and he gets some wrong.

Not quite what the Huddersfield manager said on MOD. He said they were beaten by the quality of Everton, and said it twice. In the rush to trash Sam don't let anything stand in your way.

Almost everything mate to be honest.

Rooney, Klaassen, Lookman going out and coming in - different team news weekly. He clearly works/knows someone very well within the club.

He's the only 'ITK' who is credible and should be listened to.
OK.

I suppose it depends on his contact within the club. If it's Moshiri, fair enough. If it's somebody like Dunc, I suspect there's things he's not party too.

Basically, despite my fears, I refuse to give up on Allardyce leaving until I see a club announcement to that effect.

What are you shouting at me for? I didn't make the shortlist! lol

I would assume they pick 5 each time (I don't know as I am not on the panel) and as it was a month where teams were taking points off each other he got on because we showed some form of consistency compared to others.

Huddersfield didn't lay a glove on us. Once we scored the first it was never in doubt for me. Nothing fortunate about it in my opinion. Yeah they had a decent amount of the ball but it was in areas where they could not do any damage. We have had some fortunate results this season, I don't think this was one of them, it was a classic away performance.

The worse thing about this media love in is the players are getting called garbage by the media, as Allardyce has done an amazing job with what he’s given, when really it’s the players have done an amazing job with the manager they been given. We have quality in our team. Last 2 games with had a total of 3 shots on target and all 3 where goals, that’s why where 8th, not because of Sam

Exactly. Because his source is a member/members of staff at the club, they hear things and pass it to him. Point is, injury timescales, managerial decisions etc... they can change. I’m just praying that’s the case again here with Allardyce.

It makes sense to me that the staff would assume he’s staying put, as they probably wouldn’t have been told otherwise. What’s more telling for me is that nothing definitive seems to have come from the meeting he had with Moshiri. I still don’t think he seems fully convinced himself that he’s staying - something still tells me he’ll be gone.

Nominated for Manager of the month haha - we should have known that was coming.

I guess a draw at home to Liverpool where we didn't have a shot, a draw away at struggling Swansea, a win at Newcastle with hardly any shots on target and a win at Huddersfield that made me want to put bleach in my eyes is enough to be nominated these days.

People have mentioned what Blue Onions (from COYB and TEF) has said regarding Big Sam saying.

To add, he has been right 99.9% of the time. So if he says he's saying, he probably is lads.
I’m not a member on there, but do have a look now and again. I could be wrong abd I’m sure a few lads of here are also on comeonyoublues. But wasn’t the information coming from the training ground and didn’t he say a month that he wasn’t sure if he would be staying.

Sounds like he’s edging his bets to me
